Depending on what I have in the house for groceries, I usually make a sandwich or a frozen dinner. I hate cooking for myself but I also can’t justify ordering a pizza for just myself either.

I usually eat leftovers, soup, or cereal. We’re living on a ridiculously tight budget right now so dining out isn’t an option, but if it were, I’d probably get Panera takeout because DH hates Panera and I love it.

When it’s just DH, he makes curry. I can’t tolerate even the smell so it’s his only opportunity.

I will eat a sandwich or some other really easy-to-make food, like tortilla pizza.

Either something stupid healthy that DH won’t eat (quinoa and spinach, kale soup) or $50 worth of Thai food. There is no happy medium.

Usually I don’t eat “dinner” because I often work until 6:30pm. When I do it is a small meal. Tonight I had a whole wheat bagel with far free cream cheese on one half and peanut butter on the other.

@roweboat:  That was my breakfast haha! Whole wheat toast, one half with peanut butter and one half with cinnamon sugar. Do you see a trend here?

If I don’t feel like cooking or leaving the house I will call my local italian place and get my usual greek salad delivered.

If I am alone and want something light/snack and don’t feel like actually cooking I like eat chopped up tomatoes with blue cheese and basalmic. Or I will quickly make a skillet with chopped up potatoes, cheese, eggs, and spinach. Or grilled cheese with tomatoes and brown mustard.

If I feel like fast food it’s usually Qudoba veggie nachos or Subway veggie delight.

If I want something hearty but quick I usually do some kind of casserole. Like Tuna casserole or something. Easy peasy!

@mrsSonthebeach:  Glad I am not the only one who hates the smell of curry!

I will just eat half a baguette of French bread with some butter. Or make mashed potatoes with butter. It’s ridiculous how many carbs I can put down in one sitting!

Something frozen or I order out.

I cook dinner every night for our family but my SO works Friday and Saturday nights and I hate cooking for just me and our daughter. I usually give her left overs.

Cheese and crackers, popcorn or cereal!
