Hugs and snuggles! Although I really missed the smell of his aftershave too!
I'm with both of you ladies - I miss hugs and I miss smelling him. About 10 weeks to go til he's back!!!
@anamcara, i miss smelling him too! i just love the way he smells, he doesn't wear cologne or anything but i always take deep breaths whenever i'm cuddling with him. it's just heavenly. he sent me home with one of his shirts this past visit and i'm already sad that it's starting to lose its scent.
but aside from that, i miss cuddling with him and having him kiss my forehead.
I missed kissing and face to face conversations. That really killed me because he wasn't a phone person, neither of us are into video chat. I just wanted to see his face!!
I too miss the hugs, cuddling, the close physical contact. Spike always wants to be in contact with me when we're together. We hold hands all the time, and when we can't for some reason, he has to be touching me somehow. My mother called my attention to this and said she knew he was crazy about me becase he can't let go of me.
I really need those hugs sometimes! I have a pretty hair-trigger temper and become easily frustrated and annoyed with things, but all he has to do is come hug me and it all drains away. He has this amazing calming effect on me.
And I miss just cuddling on the couch with my head on his shoulder.

For me, it's hugs and cuddling. More than anything else, at the end of most days, I sigh and think to myself, "I could so use a hug from J right now."
