I honestly thought I would quit spending time on the Bee after I got married because obviously I'm no longer planning my wedding, but I feel like I'm spending more time on here than ever as a newlywed! So what did you do/do you plan on doing after you're married? Just curious! :)

The best advice on this website are from newlyweds! They have been there!

@brideatbeach: I feel like I am on here as much if not more than before. I like giving advice to other brides-to-bee, here how life is for other newlyweds and just be on the boards! There are so many great ladies here, why would I want to leave? And where would I go? The Nest?!

Haha I guess I just hoped I wouldn't spend so much time on here because I have so much to do, but they are so addicting! I agree, though- I see so many Bees posting panicked questions and I'm so anxious to answer because I was in their shoes not too long ago!

I just LOVE it here....and I'm a year post-wedding!  I really enjoy helping others, giving my unbiased opinion, and building "friendships" too!  Smile

@brideatbeach: I think I'm spending more time here now that I'm married too! I hardly used the boards during the month leading up to our wedding and for about a month after. But now I feel like I can offer some valuable advice from the other side!

I also value the opinions of Bees on everyday life issues, too.

I've had countless questions about my job, relatives, etc. where it's nice to here a totally objective point of view from people who know nothing but the facts and don't know me personally.

@ritsi_bitsi: Me too! I racked up a lot of posts until a month or so before the wedding and then I just browsed because I was so busy. Now it's been three weeks post wedding and I'm coming back slowly. I don't post as much as I do and I don't spend as much time as I used to but the bee has been my one constant website for almost a year now!

I thought I would quit too. But I've slowly been coming back (it's only been like 2 weeks...) I think I'm still interested in the whole thing, plus I really want to talk about marriage now. But I know I will fizzle out eventually, because I do that with almost all of my internet endeavors, except facebook.

I doubt I will stay to be honest :[

I would see too many new ideas that I wish I could of had at my wedding and be sad. Idk, I've got a while to think about it!

I joined for the waiting section. I know SO and I dont have any interest in a "real wedding" I guess something is wrong with me, so I dont see why I would need to stay after my waiting period is up but who knows

    hey, you need more options!

I'm kind of not sure... like, I'd like to be around to answer girls questions and post pictures, but it will probably also depend on how busy I am.

Also, FI (only half jokingly!) said that if I don't have a job by then, I should be banned from WB until I do as motivation. hahaha. (sort of.)

Now lets just pray my new work will not have this site blocked dammmit!

My FI just asked me this very question tonight...I told him I'd still be here because this site is not JUST about planning your wedding, primarily it is but there's so much more to it. I love the community here and I'm not gonna leave you ladies just because I'm an old married woman!

I might, but probably only for the chats- and even then all my WB buds on are facebook :)

I probably will be on alot less than I am now, to be honest.

I don't think that I will, but lately I've been lovin' the Bee and can't imagine not checking it every once in a while after I am married. We aren't getting married for another year, so maybe by then I will be sick of it. Or mabye I'll graduate to the baby boards!

I'm in for the long haul. I got married last October and love answering questions from bees planning weddings, reading about babies & newlywed life or just chiming in at the lounge. It's a great network to meet quality people!

I think I will end up leaving a little while after the wedding because there will be about 5 years between my wedding until I start freaking out about having a baby and might come back at that point. But that is SO far away...
