I followed the blogs for a very long time. I just recently signed up and started participating in the boards, now thats my main interest πŸ™‚

I read the boards. I’ve never looked at the DIY or Bios or Gallery. I follow a handful of the bloggers (most of the safari generation, and Miss Sparkler, and a few of the brunch generation).

not sure how scientific this poll is, since obviously you’re posting it where only people who read the boards will see! πŸ™‚

    97% Boards
    2% DIY
    1% Blog

The bios and gallery don’t really interest me. There aren’t very many reviews for vendors in my area since we don’t have a large Capital Region/Upstate presence in the Hive and no offence (to the WB head honchos), but I think the store is over-priced.

ETA: I totally forgot about classifieds. Knock my boards down to 95% and add 2% in for classifieds. πŸ™‚

    Boards for sure!

I would say 93% boards, 5% classifieds, and 2% DIY

After finding quite a few items on the classifieds I try checking them out more so now!

When I was planning my wedding it was about 50/50 boards and blogs. Now it is about 98% board and 2% blogs.

I like the blogs and the galleries to browse, and am mostly flipping back and forth from those to the boards to chat.

I’d say boards and blog equally. I only really read recap posts on the blog though, with the exception of a few Bees who I will follow from the beginning if they seem interesting/have something in common with me or my wedding.

75% blogs- I like to read through the older bee blogs during my downtime at work. The safari generation was the best, I will be seriously bummed when the Pdog and Zebra recaps are done!

    20% boards

    5% galleries

The classifieds and vendor reviews are way too clunky.  I’ve tried a few times to use them, but they just don’t work well enough.  I feel like there is so much potential, especially with the classifieds, but not being able to search them well and having so many old posts is annoying.  Vendor reviews stink for my wedding city (if you search for stuff, you get all vendors from Chicago, over two hours away and much more expensive), and I hate that if a vendor isn’t already listed, you can’t write a review of them.

I used to spend more time reading the blogs, but now that my wedding is over I am just reading a few brides who I want to see through the end of their story, and I’m trying to not get into any of the new brides.  I’m trying to cut back on my board time too…but it’s so hard…

I pretty much just stick to the boards.  I’ve read the blogs a few times but never followed a specific blogger.
