I have Sprint too and a Palm Pre. I believe the Pixi and Pre use the same operating system. I’ve had the phone 7 months and love how you can toggle between apps, kinda like MS Office. I use it primarily for work so it is really helpful being able to switch between reading email, opening attachments, responding to IM while on a conference call in my car (with someone else driving or parked of course). The actual phone equipment is beginning to show signs of wear but I use it a lot. My only problem with it is that it’s not a “fun” phone because Palm’s app store is meager compared to Android’s or iPhones.

The new generation of blackberry’s are awesome. I had the old curve 8310, which was thumbs down with the scroll ball, no wifi or 3G network access. The new curve looks pretty awesome from what I’ve seen, I have the new Bold 9700 which is similar but with more features and I love it!! Love blackberry messenger!

I love my blackberry tour (verizon).

We just got an offer to upgrade our phones and I’m kinda considering it.  I will basically only buy blackberry, samsung, or droid.  I personally don’t like LG or Palms.

The original Droid is nice bc it still has a slide out keyboard.  These are BOGO (buy one get one) for about $150 for both.  The new Droid 2 is basically the same, a little bit faster, better battery, and a slightly bigger keypad.  They are going for $200.  The Droid X is awesome but its HUGE and costs $200, I would buy it in a heartbeat though but it doesn’t have a physical keyboard.  I type too much to not have a keyboard.  We did go and play with it at the store and were very impressed about how nicely the virtual keyboard typed.  I’m still debating on getting one or not.

I heard the new BB Storms were greatly improved over the first generation ones but again, I really want a keyboard.  I love my tour. Very durable, easy to use, lots of features, very customizable etc.

Adding to all this, I had a Curve before I had my Tour and to be honest its hard to tell the difference.  I didn’t have a data plan though with my Curve, so adding that and the new phone really made me love the Tour.

BBM is awesome, but you need friends that also have BBM.
