For me, it's thick hair. I wish I had thicker hair! Also, people with impeccable fashion sense who are brave enough to try new trends!
Right now I am envious of people who have jobs and can buy stuff they want!
People who have stable jobs/future/income. Right now we're at a place in our lives where we need numerous back up plans, etc, and it's really stressful!
Nice abs! Soo jealous of those girls. I'm totally with you on being jealous of people with great fashion sense. I just don't get it and I'm always late on the new "trends"
a flat tummy, a j.d. (as in ppl who've already made it through law school), runners ( i suck at it ), ppl who have more energy (can get by on 6 hours of sleep, i can't function wihtout 8)
parents who are financially stable
People with great skin. I don't mean flawless, I just mean no acne/scarring. I'm envious of those girls who get "ONE" zit and FLIP OUT. Whatev.
Right now, people who really like what they do!
And people with lots of money! Because right now, it'd be nice to be like my parents and be able to travel and do whatever the heck I want without worrying about the budget, haha. (PS i know taht sounds bad to say but my parents flaunt their lifestyle quite a bit and are always bragging about their vacations. Sometimes I'm just like "ugh i'm a failure at life!" b/c i'm not successful but in reality, I am)
Also people who can eat what they want and stay skinny. Cuz I'd have a ROCKIN' body if i could do that and I worked out as much as I do
Skinny people! Girls that can eat and drink and be merrily skinny!!!!
Also girls with wavy/curly hair. I want to be able to just wash my hair and go and have it hold curl!
how about that girl that can read a book while running superfast on the treadmill for like an hour? Yea, I'm pretty envious of her.
Haha! Good question. At the moment it's people that are pregnant. It just seems like everytime I turn around I hear another announcement from another friend. It will be my turn soon enough I geuss!
People who are effortlessly skinny, people with amazing skin, people with style/who know how to put really cute outfits together (I am only sometimes successful at this), people who speak another language fluently, people with big and mostly happy families (because no one's family is always happy!).
I am with the people who have stupid money..I work hard for every penny I earn and somehow I feel like I will never have enough money to just go out and buy something expsenive without saving..I worry about not making enough money to help support my future family everyday! I wish I went to college instead of beauty school since that didnt work out so much for me :(
I am definitely envious of people who have money. The FI and my financial situation has been rough over the past couple of months because of job changes for both of us. I know it will get better, but it would be wonderful to just fix the dent I put in my car yesterday- and by dent, I mean fix the fender that was ripped away from my car from the rock wall that moved over to vandalize me.
@Miss Bella, my SIL is a stylist and works part time and brings like 60K a year. It's totally doable once you build up a client base. She works like 3 days a week, 12 hour days. CRAZY.
jealous of her flexible schedule!
@okqueenbee, lol, did you see the South Park episode about Facebook?....=]
Oh, and girls with 4 million best girlfriends and a booming social life.
I'm jealous of those with money too, not fair!
And those girls that can put together really cute outfits. Where are those clothes at? Not the stores i'm shopping in or can afford!
Girls with great skin and girls who are curvy without having a gut or watching what they eat. Also, people who don't ever have to worry about money.
Boobs are fun to have...but someday will sag! Once that happens, I will be envious of the people with no boobs!
@ ejs - Nope. I don't like South Park, but that episode might have been worth it :)
@ Bella - I second the "girls with 4 million best girlfriends" thing. I try to be the best friend I can be, but somehow it always backfires. I'd settle for even 2 good girl friends, but I only have one. Oh well.
1) skinny people
2) people who eat right/exercise because they LIKE it
3) people who like their jobs
@heathaah, boobs and money go hand-in-hand....so we can get them fixed down the road when they aren't so pretty! LOL
To be fair, I've always wished I could have a glimpse of what it's like to be flat chested. I'd LOVE to wear a sexy low cut/backless top without looking like a porn star
Can I add people who have real life friends? I have such a problem meeting people here because I almost never go outside the house.
I am envious of people who are awesome in social situations. I would love to have a million female friends, too!
love this thread :)
yes on the abs and money and people who don't need much sleep, if I had more time!
I'm envious of people who are naturally slim. I definitley have to work to not be a cow!
People who went to off to college right out of high school. I'm 28 and just in my second semester of school. I see all the friends I went to high school with and see where they are and it makes me more sad than anything. If I could go back in time, I wish I had done that. I missed a lot not going off to college.
People with good jobs that are relevant to what they studied in school and that pay them what they are worth.
People who are getting an advanced degree. I'm applying right now but so worried about where the money will come from.
People who have roughly the same schedule as their FI.
People with dependable, grown up cars.
people with dogs who behave. lol.. although im hoping someday mine will get there!
I'm jealous of women who naturally have great bodies. I respect those women who work out to get a great body, but there are some girls who eat like pigs and never work out and look amazing. I wish I was one of those people.
I'm not jealous of the girls who work out because I hate working out, but I am jealous of their motivation. I am a lazy piece of crap.
I'm also jealous of women who have well-off partners. I know that sounds totally shallow and anti-feminist, but I don't mean it that way. I just get really stressed out as the person in the relationship who makes more money. I feel like it's a lot of pressure on me, i.e. if he lost his job, we could still get by, but if I did, we couldn't.
Also, people who are good at networking/schmoozing. I think I'd be so much more successful in life if I wasn't so socially awkward and such a misanthrope.
@ MissAsB - You need to get out of the house more! Not necessarily to make friends, but because it's healthier! As humans we need interaction of some sort on a regular basis. :)
@danadelphia - Ditto on the networking/schmoozing. In my field it would be really helpful if I could do that...but I just CAN'T! It's just so forced for me to even attempt to be like that.
@okqueenbee: I try! I mean I do go to class twice a week but we don't really have money to go out to dinner or develop a new hobby right now.
Damn straight, Tulip. I can be charming if I actually LIKE someone, but I'm NO GOOD at being "on" if I have nothing in common with someone or if I feel forced into it. Sigh.
