The ring is gorgeous! And the proposal sounds awesome, really sweet and well thought out (mine was actually pretty similar, with the photo album of pics of us since day 1, leading up to a "proposal" page!). I am sure she will love it, and if you think she will like the surprise, I am sure she will. But I think girls tend to love the surprise proposal in general, otherwise they wouldn't get all antsy waiting for it, wondering when it will happen. Maybe you can take her to the place you first met after you propose with a nice bottle of wine or something, if it isn't too far away?
Sounds great! Good thinking on not taking her to the place you had your first date. My FI was really good about making things a surprise and it made it more special.
She's going to LOVE the ring and the proposal! I especially love it because part of my proposal was an album my hubby incorporated like how you are doing. :) When do you plan on proposing?

Also, what do you think of this proposal, as much as I wanted to take her to the place we first met to propose to her, I wanted to surprise her more than anything. Because we met at a distinct place first, I wouldn't be able to surprise her. Here's what I plan to do.....my girlfriend started a picture album of us when we first started dating many years ago, she wanted me to fill it with pictures eventually but I never got to it.....so now, I'm going to fill it with pictures from our years of being together......leaving a page saying "The Proposal"........and no picture there.....I'll take her to dinner somewhere not out of the norm, and when we get home, I'll be like....hey babe.....look what I found......and let her look through it to find the pages have been filled out........and I'll have the ring with me when she turns to the page of the propsal.....and propose to her when she gets to it.....of course I'll take a picture of her with it and put it in our album ;) What do you guys think? Think the element of surprise will be better than proposing at the place we first met? Thanks.
