It’s not my style, but I think it’s very pretty and unique!

OMG I love that! Like, love love it :-). It’s so original, and I love the curves. It really stands out from a lot of engagement rings that have started all looking the same to me!

Is that from the Walmart site?  I think I recognize it, and I remember it being VERY affordable with lots of great reviews.  Although it’s not my particular taste, it looked pretty on their hands.

@cyndistar3: If the car had great reviews and was well built, i’d think about it ;-).

But seriously – if the diamonds are good quality and the craftsmanship is there, I’d get it. They probably get manufactured by the same people that make rings for all the other chain stores, only Walmart gets them cheaper because of their low overhead and larger distribution.

You can laugh all the way to the bank at the people who overpaid 🙂

The style is really pretty! I feel like it’s hard to know for sure until you see it on your own hand…

I dunno.  I think a car from Walmart would be better than no car at all, no?

I really like it. The setting is lovely even though diamonds aren’t really my thing.

As long as you like it and it fits into your wedding budget, you should get it.

@cyndistar3: Do the walmart rings come with a GIA certificate?

A diamond is a diamond and most of the cost of them comes from markup and “brand name”.

Fiance ordered my ring online from a website that has no physical stores. He got a great deal on a GREAT diamond (we had it independently appraised). No one will know whether your ring came from walmart or cartier unless you tell them.

I love that kind of setting, but I admit – I looked at rings like that too!
