so I received my Mori Lee gown (see topic http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/poll-casablanca-vs-mori-lee#axzz2mXL5eUiu) in my size and now I am not sure if I like it.
I can’t say it’s a typical dress regret – I like how I feel when I am wearing this dress, it’s super light and comfortable but I can’t say that I am crazy about pictures of me wearing it. Like some bees said in my previous topic, it is a bit shapeless… I attach some pics of me in it (sorry for the mobile phone quality), please let me know if it looks good or not in your opinion, and should I keep it or rather get something different. As far as the venue goes, my wedding is going to be a casual ceremony on the beach followed by a small dinner at the waterfront restaurant.

@Mrs_P: yes, i think people could view it as shapeless and while yes you can wear ANY dress in any kind of wedding. The dress you picked is something that comes to mind when you say your having a casual beach wedding. I think it’d fit perfectly with your wedding =D and I think you look great in it too.

I think it’s perfect for the beach! Light and airy!
You could always get a different sexier reception dress to change into =)

I personally think it’s gorgeous! especially for a beach wedding! I don’t think it is shapeless, it does look a bit loose around the top though. Is there any way you could have it altered to be a little tighter? that might get the shape you are looking for.

@Mrs_P: I think it is very pretty, but does look a little shapeless. Could you go to a seamstress and just see if they could pull the bodice in a bit? I think that would help! other wise it is very pretty and very fitting for a beach wedding 🙂

Your dress is amazing and you have one of those willowly and elegant figures that can carry it. It’s beautiful.x

I do think it looks very pretty and prefect for your venue though I agree with @lolita39: that the top looks a bit loose or something to me, just seems like maybe it needs to be fitted better with alterations.

It’s a beautiful dress and sounds like a great fit for your wedding – but take it to a good seamstress and see if you can get it tailored just a little bit to fit you better. It will make a WORLD of difference 🙂

@Bri1o: thank you, yes I think the bodice does need to be pulled in. The beading might make it a little tough though… But I hope it’s possible

I agree it looks a little loose, but i think once that is fixed it’ll give you the shape you want. It’s perfect for the beach, soft and flowy but still sexy =)

@Mrs_P: Looking at this and the pictures you posted before, it’s pretty clear that the only issue is that it’s a little bit big for you. Any good seamstress will be able to take it in, despite the beading, it just takes a little extra work. I think it’s going to be perfect for a beach wedding!

I think its gorgeous and I think you’re going to get beautiful pictures out of it. I also LOVE the back of the dress. I think you picked good.

It also looks like it could benefit from being pulled up a bit. It looks like the embellishment is hitting too low, but if you just had it altered so that it stays up a bit better, I think it will give you the look you want.
I definitely would not scrap it and find something new!

It’s a beautiful dress. Remember that almost all dresses need to be altered even if they’re in your size. Everyone’s built differently. Find a good seamstress and she’ll be able to fit it like a glove.

@Mrs_P: That dress is not shapeless at all, it looks very very nice on you. Well suited to your venue. It’s soft, feminine, sweet & sexy at once, the kind of dress a guy would love. It could stand to be taken in, but it’s not screaming that it needs it either. If it’s an issue I would try smooshing my boobs up with the nu-bra trick, maybe that would make a similar illusion as taking it in.
Don’t have a second thought about that dress! You look like a dream!
