Just curious 🙂
Just curious 🙂
And if it does, I’m going to be really irritated that I just paid my electric bill.
It’s not ending, I’m not worried. Simple as that.
I think it’s absolutely ridiculous! I like how it was supposed to happen in 1994 but the date got pushed back 17 years….
I’m suprised at my own suprise that people believe it. The world was supposed to end like 30+ times, we’re still here.
Not surprised by the answers so far but I was just wondering if we had any closet-believers 🙂
for my part I fall into the “its crazy but i’m 1% concerned” category. Like I KNOW its crazy. The rational me knows that. But the me that thinks my headache is a brain tumor and that weird nose is obviously a murderer in the closet thinks perhaps I should be just a little bit nicer this week… just in case. hehe.
I figure, if I’m gonna die, the best possible scenario is to do it at the same time as everyone else. I mean, no one is left behind to be upset, which is actually my biggest concern.
Do I think the rapture is coming? Nooooo. But I mean, if it was, nothing we can do about it, right?
I have several friends who are planning on parties to “celebrate” the rapture (uh, right, more like they just want to party, lol). There’s a facebook group joking about “looting and plundering” due to the “rapture”, and I also have a “friend” on FB who is a conspiracy nut and actually believes it’s gonna happen.
Needless to say, every one else who reads his comments promptly posts stuff to mock him. Gotta love people in the indy film business! LOL!
Me? I’m wanting sleep. And less rain. No rain this weekend would be nice….
LOL! Cause 12-21-2012 wasn’t soon enough…
Think about it this way: if those whackos are right, aren’t you glad that you’re wrong?
If the world is going to end, it won’t be known when, so if it happens, it happens. I am still going to keep working and pay my bills. I don’t quite get the concept of people quitting theirs jobs and giving everything away. It seems a litte ridiculous to me. What if it doesn’t happen? These people could end up on the streets and homeless because they quit their jobs and gave everything away.
I sarcastically wrote “Rapture” on the calendar for Saturday. 🙂 I think it’s funny they try so hard to predict it.
Sure it could happen but it would not because so-and-so said it would. To help my case- we’re going to a wedding on Saturday of two friends- the groom is a pastor. Does he think the rapture is going to happen? Nope, at least he doesn’t think that the so-and-so has foreknowledge (which to me seems a bit gnostic “secret knowledge”-y anyway)
