I’ve been trying to find a pair of fairly low, wedge shoes for my outdoor ceremony on grass. I found these today and I loved them but my mom wasn’t feeling them. Are they too much? They’re very different than anything I have considered. I feel very Cinderella/glass slipper in them.

I think that they are great!! I love them!!! I have been looking for some formal wedges as well for my garden wedding. Where did you find those?

Honestly at first I was not so sure but after thinking about them with a wedding dress they seem perfect!

I would avoid them, just b/c any experience I’ve had with plastic-y shoes has been BAD. They make your feet sweat, and then it rubs and gives you horrible blisters! obviously, they will not hold true for all shoes, but it might be something to think about!

They are SO Cinderella and her glass slipper! I love them.

Honestly? I’m not a fan. They remind me of the plastic shoes girls would wear to homecoming in high school.
TealaB brings up a good point, plastic shoes have a chance of giving you some nasty blisters, espcially if your feet sweat at all.

I’m not a big fan of plastic shoes. I’m all about comfort and I can tell you over the time the plastic may will start to irritate your foot… which is no fun! Although, I do love the cinderella aspect of the shoe. ッ

Thanks for all of your opinons!
@Teala and Babyboo – Thanks for bringing this up. I hadn’t thought about sweating/blisters. I’m now picturing my gellies from elementary school. Hmmm…
@Jackie – Macy*s! They are “Gunna” by Nina. Pricey so I’m waiting for a sale, if I go with them.
@ bohemian and MrsK – I wasn’t sure about them at first either! It took some walking around and looking in a couple of mirrors before I could really picture them!

I have to say i’m not a fan. Clear plastic shoes always remind me of stripper heels. Plus, as TealaB said, plastic shoes are soo not comfortable. They make your feet sweaty and it makes your feet slip around in the shoes all day.

Not a fan either…I wore shoes very similar to that for my Quinceanera and regretted it almost immediately…also if they are pricey I would say skip them. You can find them for way cheaper at a boutique or “mega mall”.

honestly, not a fan. plastic shoes always remind me of a strippers. obviously these are not trashy and don’t have some ridiculous platform but the connection is still there for me. sorry.

I have never worn plastic shoes but I really do not get the stripper feel at all! I can understand the sweating aspect though.
But I think it will be difficult to find formal looking wedges, and wedges seem a little more outdoor (grassy) friendly.

in my opinion, i think plastic shoes are just too tacky!
Here are a few other options:

@nyc_lawyer26: I think she wanted low heels on them.
@Miss Brown Bear – Here are the ones I got if you are looking for a low wedge:
They are SAS Strippy sandals in white (the also come in black, pewter, bone, and gold). Soooo comfortable! I think those shoes are cute, but I can see them giving you terrible blisters!

Here are some low heeled, white wedges that could work for you!
