I'm torn b/c I found the attached dress for $60 and I couldn't pass it up. It fits me perfectly, although I need to get it hemmed. None of my friends were with me when I bought it so I couldn't get any opinions on it (and it was the first dress I ever tried on!). So I bought it but a couple of my friends think they see me in something more modern. I'm a little bummed since I grew to like the dress. What do you guys think about this dress? Is it nice or am I just distracted with the price?

Wow! $60 is such a great deal!! I'm not sure what your style is and how it would look on you so I'm not sure that i can give a strong opinion. I know that the ruffle style of dresses are really popular right now. Did you get a good feeling about it when you tried it on? If you think that it is the one, then that is the only thing that matters :)

I was unsure about it when I first tried it on because I had nothing to compare it to. But I did received some compliments on it so it made me feel better about it. I just want to make sure it's not out of style or anything.
I think that this dress is very romantic, and for $60, you really can't go wrong. But if you feel like you need to shop around some more, go for it! I'm sure that you will have no problem reselling it and getting your money back.

I definitely think you could go look at other bridal stores, just to get an idea of what other dresses look like on you, but if you love this one, then keep it!!

The dress is really pretty and romantic...and definitely modern enough!...But $60 is a crazy steal! But you definitely have room to do more shopping around :) Definitely try other stuff on to make sure, but you definitely found a great wallet-friendly dress!

Imho, if you FEEL beautiful and confident in it, then that is the dress. And for 60$ wow. Just wow!

It looks GREAT on you and a very unique dress! I say if you feel good in it, then keep it! The way I knew I found "THE dress" was that I didn't want to take it off and I could not wait to wear in on my wedding day. If that is how you feel, you have found the one! Don't let price be your deciding factor.
When I saw it hanging I wasn't sure but that dress is AMAZING on you! You look beautiful and it fits you like a glove! If you like it and it fits what you imagine for your wedding I say keep it. You look wonderful and timeless and you can't be the price!
Also, I think it is modern. There are a lot of dresses with rouching (sp?), sweetheart neckline and ruffles.

i didn't like it when i saw the first photo of the dress hanging on a hanger, but i like it after seeing the 2 pix of you wearing the dress! it looks awesome on you!

You look gorgeous in it! Now glam it up girl with some pearls and either swarovski crystal.
I envision some dangley pearl and sparkle earrings and a matching cuff bracelet on you!
And a fascinator (maybe flower?) in your hair! That will give it a modern look.

So i totally just said "yum, yum, yum!" in my head when I saw the pic of your dress...and you look gorgeous in it to boot! I love the swooshiness of the bottom of the dress...and the amazing price tag!
Oh..and maybe before hemming go out and buy some glamorous heels (thinking strappy high heels or peep toe shoes) with all that savings!

I have to agree with everyone else on this one...that dress looks amazing!
what's important is that YOU like it...and what a GREAT DEAL! If you wanted to modernize it, you could accessorize it however you please, and it might even look good w/ the right birdcage veil...but I tend to be a fan of more "classic" looks then the "2009/2010" trends.
You look stunning in it! You also look happy and radiant. Its a keeper! If you want a more modern touch, maybe hem it shorter?
oops, I missed the pictures of you the first time, but you ROCK that dress....my only concern is maybe trying to cover up the zipper, but if you wear a longer veil it is no worry
and if you love this dress, you might not want to look at other dresses, as it might just talk you into buying something wayyyy more expensive when you are perfectly happy w/ this one!

HONESTLY I think it is beautiful on you... i was very unsure before i saw it on you ... but it looks amazing on you and i dunno i kinda like the vintage feel of it all... I think dressing it up with some amazing accessories and maybe a fascinator... be sure to pick your shoes out before you get that dressed hemmed!
Honestly i think you should keep the $60 dress that looks AMAZING on your body and splurge on other things while patting yourself on the back for saving so much money on your gown

I think the dress is awesome...it's modern but with a vintage look at the same time, and it's so romantic. I can't believe it was only $60!
