I’m worried that it will look too big, or that it doesn’t really look like an engagement ring. I’ve thought about something similar with a white sapphire so that it looks more timeless/engagement-y , but that deep ocean blue is just beautiful.

I think it’s beautiful, and if you’re in love with it you should get it

circumambient: It’s gorgeous! I love blue stones, they remind me of royalty. It’s an absolutely stunning ring, and I’d be proud if it were my engagement ring. I’d say go for it!

I think it’s a beautiful colour. I have a ring my grandmother left me which has a very dark blue sapphire with diamonds too. I’m not a fan of pear shaped cuts but if you are go for it!

That ring is gorgeous! It’s elegant and classic, yet, due to the pear shape, unexpected. Lovely choice!

I love it. That blue shade is gorgeous and the pear shape is so unique and classy. That was my second pick for shape but ending up with an Emerald. If anyone says that is not an engagement, tell them it was good enough for Princess Diana and now Kate Midleton; that should shut them up!
