i think he would change everything about my wedding. i'm keeping it simple and low key for a reason, but he doesn't seem too into that kind of thing. he makes me laugh when he has his rules, no doing your own flowers/grocery store flowers. no wearing flip flops on the dance floor. (i'm not having dancing, but i still see nothing wrong with that). everything about bridesmaids have to match, down to their shoes. he would not like my wedding, and i'm ok with that.
EVERYTHING. I've been doing all the planing myself (mostly) so i'm in trouble. i hope it all comes together!
haha, I guess he tends to be a whole lot more traditional than most of us bees!
My FI has already pulled a "David Tutera" on me....I only know the location (Jamaica) and when we fly out (December 18th)...oh and what I am wearing (b/c I picked the dress myself)....I will have my big reveal sometime after we get there.
The location , its nice and pretty , but he likes to One up places ..and i certainly wouldn't mind ... i think our invitations since were plannin on making them...and i think my dress , since i have yet to pick one out...and maybe the bm's dresses..but i could live with that ( there pretty and you can def use them again , but david likes them longer and thats not my normal style) ...I'm sure theres more..
Everything!! We had a very quirky, Halloween-y wedding and I don't think he would have liked any of it, except maybe the venue and the food.
1. Flowers. Our bouquets and bouts were super simple and honestly, kind of boring :) That was my choice, though. I didn't want to spend more than $300 on flowers, but if someone else was paying, I totally would have gone for something a lot nicer.
2. My dress. It was a very simple, tea-length one. I think he would have liked the tea-length look on me overall, but he probably would have put me in something more elaborate, I guess.
3. Our ceremony site. We got married in a Gazebo in a garden, and didn't do any decorating. I get the feeling he would have added something to the area.
I always watch the show and wonder the same thing. I think he'd be ok with my venue. I would hope he would like my dress. Maybe he would insist that I wear a reception dress though. I also think he'd be more ellaborate with the flowers/centerpieces. They're beautiful to me, but I think they'd be boring to him! And lastly, I dream of him coming into the venue and making it as beautiful as he does to all of those brides! Omg, I love whatever he comes up with, even if I don't like the theme the brides wanted.
My chairs...I really wish I could have gotten chiavari chairs..instead of the same old covered chairs...
My centerpieces just because they are fake flowers im doing aorchids and calla lillies inside a tall vase full of water and floating candle on top...
Maybe my dress but maybe not because it realy is beautiful
He would change the brown tuxes. I am doing Tiffany Blue and Chocolate and I hate black and blue together.
he would change:
1. my venue/caterer
2. my flowers (I'm DIYing..he hates that)
I think that's it...but you never know..lol...I wish I had David Tutera to help me...
Yeah, I'm pretty sure he would change everything. Our wedding will be great for the budget that we have, but with a 50K budget, yeah, i could have put on a different bash too!
I try not to dwell on that though, or it upsets me about the things that I'm dealing with...

What three things do you THINK David Tutera would change about your wedding? What three things would you want him to change about your wedding?
I think he would change our venue (its the lobby of a public train station!). I love it, but I dont think he would.
He would also change our flowers since I plan on doing them myself the day before.
Lastly, I think he would change our centerpieces. He seems to lean towards huge displays and my centerpeices are smaller.
Id want him to change our flowers, since Im only DIY to save money.
Id want him to change our cake since Im DIY and ive seen some amazing professional cakes.
Thats it. I cant think of a third.
