I really wanted something to add to my 3 stone e-ring and found a really pretty ruby and diamond wedding band on rubylane. My completely traditional hubby thinks it’s weird but I love it. I bought it and hope that it goes nicely with my ring but if not, I can return it at least.
Just wanted to know what others thought about gemstone (w/ or w/out diamonds) for a band. And, if anyone has one, could you please post? Thanks!
This is the ring I bought.

I love colored stone wedding bands with diamond e-rings!

I love the look of colored stone bands with a traditional e-ring – especially when they’re not soldered together – then you can enjoy them separately if you want. 🙂

Thanks so much ladies! I just hope it looks alright. I have a 3 stone ring but it’s not that traditional looking since I had diamonds from a necklace that was given to my mom, made into a 3 stone ring, and they are all the same size. And since they are each 6 prongs, they cannot touch very closely together.
Love your rings! They look gorgeous!
Thanks! And By The Way, you have my wedding date! I will be celebrating my 10th anniversary this year!

It’s beautiful. My mom has a 3-stone diamond ering and a ruby & diamond wedding band! They look beautiful and timeless together.

Ohhh! I hope more bees have pictures out there! I am considering doing a blue sapphire/diamond band – having the stones correlated.
any more photos out there?

So pretty. I think I want something similar-something with a splash of color! 🙂

Beautiful ring! I can’t wait to see how it looks with your e-ring! You have to post photos once you get it!

I will! My e ring isn’t something most people would like I think, that’s why I’m worried how it might look. I’m a freak about stones falling out and really wanted 6 prongs around each tiny diamond, so they are spaced a bit apart, making it look a bit different. But in real life, it sparkles so much.

This is what I’m doing. I’ll get my ring in about two and a half weeks but my engagement ring is all diamonds and my wedding band will be all blue sapphires. I’ll definitely post photos when it’s finished.
