I think it's nice. I think it's nice that he picked the song he wants to dance with you to:)
I LOVE THAT SONG. It's my BF's and my song, actually. I don't think we'll do it as a first dance song because it sounds a little sad because of the minor key and some of the words, but if you don't mind that, then I think it would be perfect. If the sadness is a problem, then maybe you should check out some of Jonathan Coulton's other stuff. He has lots of silly romantic songs. Also, they're geeky, which is awesome (for the record, if you didn't know, "I'm Your Moon" is supposed to be sung to Pluto by its moon, Charon). <3
@Daisylynn: I think its nice too, I just hesitate because its a love song about...Pluto. Which is SO my FI, but still...
@GreenEyedMoon: I know its about Pluto! Haha...its part of why I hesitate, along with the sad sounding minor key. We own almost all of Coulton's works, as my FI is a huge fan and I enjoy his music quite a bit myself!

So FI hates almost all mushy or romantic songs. *giant sigh* I've suggested at least a hundred different songs over the last 17 months of our engagement to have him shoot all of them down for our first dance song. Today, he says he's picked a song, what do I think? The song is "I'm Your Moon" by Jonathan Coulton.
