I think your dress is gorgeous and suits you very well. I think if you wear your hair up and add a simple necklace that would look good too. but you do look pretty just like you are.

As far as alterations, your seamstress should be able to tell you exactly what you need to do. From the pictures alone, it looks like a really good fit.

The veil isn’t my favorite. I personally would do a plain one or one that has crystals around the edge, unless you can match the lace perfectly.

I think your hair would look great up or down honestly.

I personally don’t like the sash. It “chops off” part of the beading detail from the neckline.

I think your jewelry will be fine. Your dress looks like it has a good amount of “bling” so too much jewelry will look like overkill.

taylor15220:  I think I’d like the belt better if the flower wasn’t in a place that hid your curves. In your picture, the flower is in the way of seeing your waistline. Is it possible to wear it differently? Then again, you said the dress needs to be altered and taken in so it might resovle itself on its own.

    Beautiful dress. You look great.

I think the belt takes away from the dramatic sheer v! I would get rid of the sash,  and get a blingy statment necklace. Can we see a pic without the sash on 🙂 ?

Your dress is lovely, but I have a couple of comments:

    1) I think you should at least try to put your hair up and get an idea of what that might look like. Personally I think it would give you a more elegant look.

    2) The sash didn’t catch my eye until the second photo; from that angle it just looks a little big and awkward.

    3) Not a fan of the veil, especially not how it falls. I think it can look super classy if it goes behind your back, like this:

But as soon as it extends to the front of the bride I get sort of an 80’s vibe.

taylor15220:  I would wear my hair at least half up and a bigger necklace and bracelet. Otherwise you look great!

taylor15220:  after reading your comment to MissLibra, I agree wih you on no necklace and statement earrings. I’m sorry you’re stricking out on the sash (even though I was one to advise against it), is there any way you can use it somewhere else? Perhaps wrap it around the stems of your bouquet?
