I was going to make DIY invites, and I really liked my “prototype,” but the idea of buying inexpensive invites on Vistaprint.com and not having to spend the time to make invites excited me. So I decided to see what the website had to offer. For under $50 I can get 80 invitations with envelopes.
I used a combination of Microsoft Office Publisher and the online program on Vistaprint. to make these.
Please let me know what you think and if you would change anything. I wonder if the map makes since – like is it clear that the smaller box within the map is a close-up of the venue?
Thank you! 🙂

I showed this to my mom and sister and neither of them noticed that the small square in the map is a close-up of the venue. I’m wondering how I should change it to make it noticable.

I assumed that the square on the map is a close up of the building, they look great! What colour are your envelopes?

Looks good. I knew the map was a close up of the venue 🙂

Ok, great thank you! Nice to know. They may have been confused by the map because I showed them the card on the Vistaprint program which has it sideways.
@globalmargaret: I think I am just going to use white envelopes with a sticker seal that matches the invites, although I might use the A7 ones I already have around instead of the free ones from vistaprint because I heard those are pretty thin.

They look nice.
I might take the “for engagement photos” off of your map/info card, though, and put in something else that guests might find more “useful”, if you really want people to go to the website.

I could clearly tell it was a close up of your venue… Because you have the lines coming out of e star 🙂 you’re fine! 🙂
I agree with a PP about the engagement picture line… You may want to put something else there… I’m not sure what you have on your site… Maybe hotel information, registries (although some people consider that taboo to have on the invites), reception details? I’m not sure… doe just doesn’t seem like “engagement pictures” is really fitting there/making sense there…

I agree with previous posters about cutting out the engagement picture line on the map card. I’d also cut out the address from the invite, and just have the venue name with the city, and state (no zip or address). I’d put the full address and zip code on the directions card. Probably at the top of the card.
ETA, I’d also put in the evening, after six o’clock.

I like the design, but I suggest looking at Catprint before you order. I originally went with Vistaprint and didn’t like how it came out. IMO, Catprint is better quality paper (and more options) and better colors for about the same price as Vistaprint. I’m only using Vistaprint for business cards, Catprint for everything else.
