I wouldn’t play Chris Brown at a wedding…  Other than that, it’s popular music.  Everyone will know the songs, which is nice.

Lol, looks like I am old enough to be your Mom… here are 3 popular “Wedding” Oldies that your Parents might enjoy … check with one of them (certainly standards at all the Weddings I go to… no matter the age group of the Newlyweds)

I Knew the Bride (When She Used to Rock n’ Roll) – Dave Edmunds (1977)

White Wedding – Billy Idol (1982)

Chapel of Love – The Dixie Cups (1964)

Hope this helps,

@gramgeek:  Well since Chris Brown is pretty awful since he beat up his girlfriend, why would you want to play his music at your wedding, which is a celebration of your loving relationship?  That doesn’t make sense to me.   I don’t understand supporting him as an “artist” or whatever auto-tuned crap makers call themselves, because supporting him is like saying it’s totally okay to beat someone up.

I wouldn’t play “gold digger” at a wedding, or Forget You, that Adele song, or that MIA song. I. ‘d be OK with Chris Briwn though. I’d stick more to songs with happy lyrics.
