Do you like it? You know that is all that really matters. It isnt my taste and I know what you mean about cute my old ring was called cute all the time. Can you do some blingy bands on both sides to bulk it up?

Your ring is not “cute”, it’s beautiful, and I like how it’s different than the same-old same-old and has personality!

Is your sister’s more like the standard type of ring? e.g. solitare or (now the very popular) halo? Maybe people in your life just didn’t know how to comment on a ring that is more unique!

I agree cute is such a weird word to use for a ring…. I can understand your frustration! As long as you like it that’s all that matters…. Are happy with it? Everyone has different tastes and it’s personally not my taste. I like the ring but I’d be a bigger fan if the band had a lil more bling vs just the plain band but like I said all that matters is if you like it!

@PrettyShort1:  I can see why ‘cute’ would be annoying, but people say it instead of ‘dainty’.. I think most of the time people have good intentions when they say ‘cute’. Unless it’s said in a snarky sort of way, I’d try not to get upset.

Do you like the ring?

It’s a nice ring for sure! One thing I love about your ring is that there are no prongs…it will be so convenient and comfortable to wear everyday. It does suck that your sister just got a ring that seems to get the attention you would like to get.

I think every girl should love her ring!!! Talk to your FI if you do want to change it. Otherwise you might love it more and more everyday ๐Ÿ˜‰

Your sister’s is an iceberg!  And yours is lovely!  Now no more comparing!  This is the happiest time in your life!

Btw- I’d rather yours than hers!  It’s all personal preference!

My sisters ring is a bit larger than mine. I think we all compare at times. Its human nature. Dont feel bad about it. Your ring is beautiful! Congrats

Your ring is beautiful and so is your sisters’. I wouldn’t consider yours cute it looks fancy enough to me. My mom just asked me a few months back did I want a ring she had because it was bigger than my e-ring, I told her no thanks.

First thought when I saw your ring: “wow cool”. I like it, wouldn’t have occurred to me to describe it as cute.

OP, I really like your ring. It is gorgeous.

I  don’t think that ‘cute’ is meant as a bad thing.

I like it. I wouldnt say its cute though. Though I will admit that theres times I see a Bee’s ring and think “oh how cute is that?” I never post it for fear of making them mad though. :X

i understand how you feel i look at your sisters and think that is my dream ring- this is a touchy subject because men choose a ring and assume we will be in love with it because they gave it to us however it doesnt always happen  i look at your ring and see why you are having seconds thoughts its easy to say we should be happy because the man of our dreams has asked us to spend the rest of our lives together but the truth of the matter is every girls wants a SHOW STOPPER (big or small) i suggest you delicatlely try to talk to him about how you feel if this doesnt work research your return policy and see if you can exchange it every woman deserves to be happy and excited about showing off her ring if all else fails go in the bathroom with that ring and look at it from every angle you will eventually fall in love with it (at least till its time to upgrade) good luck and dont be so hard on your ring its not cute its unique
