Hi bees! I bought some gorgeous joan Boyce sparkly peep toe wedge shoes with an embellished bow. They are 2 3/4″. The are sort of comfy, so I bought another pair of Born Wedoes that are also 2 3/4″ wedges and those are super comfy for dancing to change into later in case my feet hurt! I am 5’7″, my fiance is 6′. What would you do? He’s fine with heels. I just like feeling shorter than him, but I also like how my body looks in heels. Thanks for your input.
Here are my shoes:

@cieritaqt: You will still be shorter than him even in the heels.
I like the first pair of shoes. The second are a bit casual for wedding shoes for my taste.

I much prefer the first pair. Very cute. And you’ll still be shorter than him!

@julies1949: thanks! I’m going to wear the first as long as I can. You can’t see my shoes much with my dress anyway, so when I throw the others on later for comfort, no one will really notice. At least that’s the plan so far, unless I opt for flats. I though about western boots, but I wear a size 10, and sometimes boots make my feet look big (cuz they are big). It is an outdoor venue with a meadow and a stream and a barn.

You’re so lucky you’re at least close to your FI’s height! Between my FI and I we have a 14 inch difference (I’m tiny, he’s super tall). I love the first pair of shoes, they look super cute and more formal than the second pair. You should be fine height-wise.

I’d go with the heels. You’ll still be a bit shorter than him, and he will also have a little bit of height added with formal men’s shoes. Wear the shoes that will make you feel the best on your wedding day.
