What do you think of my vows so far?

Honestly, I don’t like them. I like the thought behind them, but the part of pregnancy and a baby really turns me off. I know I am jaded, but after struggling with infertility for so many years, I would be heartbroken looking back on my vows. I also don’t like pre-planning a moment like that if everything went off without a hitch and you had no fertility problems. “That he will hold in joy and excitment when you tell him you have created life together..” I get the meaning behind that, I just don’t think it should be included in your vows.

I really like the rest of it. I like that it talks about vauge, but real emotions or situations. I like the thought behind it all, I think they’re very sweet.

These vows!  Love them. Our celebrant gave us a big booklet with different readings and vows and things to pick and choose from. I don’t think we went with these, ultimately (god, did we? I can’t even remember), but I love them. I can’t tell where they’ve been altered, but I think they’re great.

I actually struggled with infertility too, like a PP, but I don’t think I’d have any regrets about going with these vows. I find them beautiful and just, unf. Right in the feels. I love them.

The part about expecting a child would make me think you were already pregnant. Otherwise I think they are sweet.

They are sweet, but some parts are off putting like the PPs said.

@tanya4285:  I think the pregnency part is a bit off but like a pervious posted I am also a little biased as I face my own issues of not being able t have children. You never know what the furture holds and I hope something like this isn’t in your cards but those vows a are a little presumptious. I love the rest of it though!
