I think you should for sure do a topper. It's be cute and fit into your theme and make it look a bit more wedding-y.

And ah!! Giraffes!! I collect all things giraffe (I'm 6 feet tall :D :D ) so I love those toppers!
Lol Df nicknamed himself a giraffe because he's so tall. He even has one in his car I bought him.
I LOVE the cake! You have to give off just the right vibe to pull something like that off and it sounds like you have the PERFECT place for that.
I love the 3rd topper, but personally I would display the topper and leave the cake without one - or put the topper on the grooms cake!

That cake is awesome! I love quirky wedding cakes! My fiance and I have been looking at houndstooth wedding cakes for inspiration.

Did you check out the wedding at the Zoo on the offbeat bride? They had one of the most beautiful animal inspired weddings of all time.
An animal theme doesn't need to feel like a kids birthday party when done right! Forget the naysayers :)

that is awesome!!!! If you feel like you want to simplfy it, you could have all zebra, so its black and white, and all the popls of colors in your flowers.
The cake is perfect, and I would have such a hard time deciding between the toppers!
I was so eager to see the cake that I didn't read your message at first. I thought, "WOW, that is a gorgeous cake! But for a wedding, hmmm..." Then, I scrolled up for more info and saw that you're having it at Disney's Animal Kingdom. SO PERFECT! I absolutely adore it!! You should totally do it, I think it would be a huge hit. And I like the 1st and the 3rd cake toppers the best.
This is totally one of the ways in which you can make your wedding really feel like 'you', you have to go for it, I think it's great!
