that's a very beautiful dress, and yes I agree that it does have a timeless modern feel. almost vintage, but definitely not outdated.
I just hope it doesn't look outdated 30 years from now when I'm looking back at my wedding pics.

This is a classic dress, but the dropped waist makes it more modern- so maybe it is what you are looking for.
I think it's pretty classic and it looks great on you, but it WILL probably look dated in 30 years time-- so what? 99% of wedding dresses from the 70s/80s look dated nowadays. I think you should just go with what you love. You said in your original post that you're in love with the dress... case closed. :)

I am in love with this dress. When I think of the feel I want for my wedding, I want a modern yet classic vibe (if that makes any sense).
In a dress I want the same thing. I want a dress that is current, but still classic. I don't want to look back at my photos and think that I was following a trend. I also want my dress to feel young. I want to be a timeless bride.
Question is...does this dress fit my wants? Modern yet classic, young and timeless??
