Nothing particularly comes to mind other than that I love the name. My DH and my family hate it though so it can’t be on our list 🙁

@lealorali:  i think it’s a beautiful, old fashioned, classic name. it’s becoming pretty popular now i guess, but i dont know anyone named evelyn or with a baby  named evelyn so its not tarnished for me yet. :p

if i thought really hard about what it made me think of, i thought of the evie pokemon. true story.

It was on our very short list of girl names!  I like it.  It’s gaining in popularity though.

@lealorali:  My grandma has this mannequin named Evelyn that she would dress up in different outfits she made. She changed it every few months and I always liked seeing the new things she would wear. So I like the name. I think it’s classy, and it’s something I would consider naming my kids.

A little old fashioned in my opinion.  However, call it “vintage” and everyone will love it!

I like it. Old-fashioned popped into my mind but in a positive way. It’s a classic, and it’s not ridiculous. It is definitely unique and not overused.

I love the name and I think it sounds unique but a co-worker and friend just named their girls that so I’m seeing it increase in popularity.
