okay today we had a tasting and our wedding is in a month. My bridesmaids sister is going to be making it and she had chocolate w/ raspberry filling, chocolate with a vanilla pudding filling, vanilla with a chocolate filling, and red velvet. We didnt like the red velvet so I know that is out of the question. We were going to do 3 tiers with 3 different flavors so we def want the chocolate w/ raspberry and the vanilla one w/ chocolate filling but would it be a good idea to have another layer of chocolate? I’ve heard of a lot of ppl not liking chocolate and it has a vanilla filling but I’m just wondering if we just do two tiers that are vanilla? I wonder how vanilla cake w/ strawberry filling would taste?

Yum! Those all sound delicious!
I would have one tier of chocolate if possible since not everyone likes vanilla. You can’t go wrong with chocolate raspberry. What exactly is the strawberry filling? Is that a mousse, a gel, jam, fresh fruit?

If you want another layer of vanilla a lemon mousse would be tasty. I know traditionally wedding cake is vanilla but I find most people prefer chocolate. If you go chocolate strawberry would actually be nice with that or a chocolate mousse. I’m having a hard time figuring out what I’m gonna do too but I know I want each each tier to be a different flavor just like you. Good luck!

I think the strawberry filling would be a jam because thats what she used for the raspberry and it tasted really good.
