After a major surgery on my leg a couple of years ago I got really depressed and started eating and gaining weight like crazy. But I decided to reclaim my life so over the last year I've lost roughly 50lbs. I still have a bit more to lose before I feel like my old self. However I've started trying on some dresses in order to get a feel for what style works best. It has been a little disheartening because it's hard not to see this "ugly" person in the mirror especially when certain styles I like just don't work on me(at least not now, maybe not ever)
But despite all of that I have found a few that I really love. Yeah this will probably be a bit of a pick me up post, I'll be honest(but who doesn't need a pick me up) BUT I'm not the most objective person when it comes to how things look on me. These are mostly the same similar style but I was just curious as to which you think looks best.
Our wedding venue is on a local farm/nature preserve.

Allure gown-can't find the style number
Beautiful slim a-line lace gown with keyhole back. mid-size train
What do you think of these dresses?(pic heavy) : wedding Tn

    Watters-Ava
Slightly more full a-line gown. Beautiful lace up top that slowly fades into an organza skirt. Sweet sash with beautiful flowers. Flowly and light.  Very little/virtually no train

What do you think of these dresses?(pic heavy) : wedding Dress 1

    Maggie Sottero-Geneva
A-line with fairly significant train and beautiful flowers all over

What do you think of these dresses?(pic heavy) : wedding Dress 2

    WToo-Emerson
Very unique but simple dress. It has an interesting criss cross lace pattern and a beautiful band of lace underneath the chest. Very light and no train.

I voted the Maggie Sottero as I think its very pretty but also the most flattering  to your new slimling figure!

I voted for the Maggie, too. It's beautiful and you wear it so well! Also, judging from your body language in the pictures, it seems to be the one you are most comfortable in. In the other pictures you look like you are pulling at them.

I LOVE the way you look in the Geneva. The others are lovely, also, but I think the Geneva is most flattering to you.

Congratulations on losing that much weight!  That is quite an accomplishment!

I think the maggie dress looks best on you, with the watters dress coming in a close second. :)

Wow thank you guys so much for all your opinions and compliments.

I definitely am proud of myself for losing the weight, Right now I'm 5"3 and roughly 165. I'm hoping to get down to 120. Obviously I'm not comfortable where I'm at but I don't want to lose too much weight and then become uncomfortable because I feel I'm too skinny.
I've always been atheletic and curvy. Before I had my leg operated on I LOVED my body so I'm hoping to achieve that level of confidence again. But it'll take some work because I've become very critical of myself.

    Anyway thanks again you guys!

My gosh the Geneva is amazing on you!  May I also suggest trying on a few natural waist gowns to see how they look with your body type?  I have a feeling they would look great as well :)

    @dashwoodgirl:

Would you mind providing a suggestion? I'm getting a lot of conflicting things when I search for natural waist wedding gowns.

It's just DIVINE on you! Buy it! NOW!

The other dresses look boring on you compared to that one!

(You have to buy the Maggie now, lol!)
