Love it, but I have to say it is a little too girly (even for me) to use everyday.

I like the plates but the ruffles on the bowls and teacups are a bit ruffly for my taste (I’m a girl)

I think they are cute! You might need some feminine touches in your home. Maybe keep looking and see if youfind something he likes better? If not, it sounds like you have the go ahead from him.

I like the plates, for some reason the plates are ruffled but it doesn’t scream RUFFLES at me, whereas for some reason the bowls and teacups do.

The ruffles make them seem kind of girly. They might not stand up well to daily use.

Yeah, I was going to mention that too, that the ruffles are pretty but I’ll bet they weaken the integrity of the pieces so they chip/break really easily.

I think that if you love them.. go for it.  It isn’t very often that I look closely at the bowl that my soup is in when I am using them on a daily basis.

Then when you entertain, you will have a beautiful set of dishes to use.

I don’t mind the plain plate and bowl, but the pattern really bugs me.  I think for an everyday set you could find something better.

What about just plain Fiesta Ware?  Do those come in white?
