I dont like it at all. It rhymes with Ava though which is a name I love (its my nieces name). Maeve sounds like a short form for Maeva though so if you name her Maeva then Maeve is probably what people will call her anyway. Its different and if thats whats your going for then go ahead and give her that name. Its all about what you like.

I don’t like either name but I dislike Maeva more. It sounds like a medication or a part of the female anatomy.

We can only vote for one option & I dislike Maeva the most so that’s I voted for.  Neither of the names really sound wholesome to me ..like they’re missing something.

I don’t mind Maeve..I do not like Maeva at all, but my opinion doesn’t matter.

Maeve is okay (name of DS’s former girlfriend, so I may be biased). Maeva is just… no.

I like Maeve! I taught a little girl named Maeve while I will still in school. She was the cutest, shyest little girl. It’s nice because it’s a classic type of a name instead of trendy. Also it’s not a trendy name that EVERY girl is going to have . 🙂

Don’t like either because when I see the name, I immediately think its “Mauve”.

I don’t really like either one. However, even if I did the spelling of those names (even though it’s the correct spelling) turns me off. Can’t really pinpoint why

MissGeeBee:  I don’t like either name, but dislike Maeva more. Maeve is a really traditional Irish name, so I think I have one or two in my family tree, but it’s just not my taste.
