I have another post about trying to find wedges that are comfortable and tall enough to work with the hem of my dress. Need wedges that are comfortable and tall for the pre-wedding pics, and to change into during reception if needed. I already bought a pair of wedding flips flops which I absolutely loath, but I want to have an option just incase my feet are killing me on the wedding day. What’s worse then not enjoying the wedding day because of pain???
The wedding shoes: (drool….)
the wedges for running around town to take pictures and my “just0in-case-my-feet-hurt” shoes: If they happen to peak out under the dress would it look horrible????

I think even if they peek out, that it will look fine 🙂 They’re still classy enough that you don’t have to constantly be worrying about them showing. Plus, you’re only wearing these for outdoor photos, right? I think they’re perfect for what you need them for!

Cute but I honestly think the cork heel makes them too casual for your dress. Unless no one will see them at all then it really wouldn’t matter. There was a cute dressy ivory wedge from nordstrom someone posted awhile back that might work. Not sure on the heel height though. I’ll see if I can find it.

i think those are fine, however i do agree that the cork is a bit casual, but will it even show??
however I remember when i got wedges about a month or so ago, you really liked them…well it turns out i can’t wear them because they ARE too small (like another bee had pointed out) and i got new shoes. so if you really liked my wedges, i would be willing to sell them to you for super cheap! i got a great deal on them on black friday,
let me know if you are interested. they are size 8.

PurpleUnicorn thank you but I wear size 8, and I don’t think they look tall enough. But you are so nice, and you’re right I still love those shoes. 😉
7-9-11bride I agree with the cork thing, that’s totally what’s holding me back from getting them. They are too casual. will the show under the dress, probably not. But they will peak out from time to time and I’m wearing Manolo’s for god’s sake!! I can’t wear cork and manolo’s… that is such a no-no to me. But then again, I’m making my own worst nightmare come true buy purchasing wedding flip-flops. Yuck. But at a certain point in the night I will need to be comfortable.
Thoughts anyone on an alternative? I’ve been looking for patent leather in maybe a nude with a platform and wedge.
