I think it is a nice color for a summer wedding and there are a lot of beautiful things you can do with the bouquet that will be lovely with this purple. What are your other wedding colors?
It depends on what your other colors are. I think both this color and bright pink could look great depending on the flowers you use and the other decorations. And you can even add a different color sash on the pink, like navy or white to break up the pink a little.
Well I am kinda unsure right now what I want to do. Originially I wanted pink dresses with pink/orange flowers. But now I am leaning towards switching my color to this- not sure what accent color I will use. What do you guys think? I am really just starting to plan things out, nothing is set in stone for colors as of now.
It's beautiful and I agree with other posts that you can do amazing things with flowers to compliment. Go for it-- much better than pink.

I also like this better than bright pink- it's a happy shade of purple!
You could do a lot with this color! I love it! Here are some ideas of colors to pair with it.
Black and white
Lime green and white
Hot pink

I think it is a great color, but you may want to take your bridesmaids to try it on. You may not like it once they have it on. The bridesmaids dress I have is purple and I love it!
It kind of reminds me of an Easter egg, but not necessarily in a bad way. If you don't love it, keep looking.
I love it - I would love it even with pink accents!

Wedding is June 2010, originally we ordered a bright pink but I am not completely happy with the choice!! I have been up all night twice since we chose the color. What does everyone think of this color? The dress is not this style, but similiar.
