What does everybody think of this dress? I really liked how it looked when I tried it on, but now looking at the pics I am concerned it makes me look “frumpy” and that it is too much dress, esp. from the side view (how it overlaps). I really want it to accentuate my small waist, do you think this dress does that? Should I should go with a more form fitting dress to show off my curves (I have a pear body shape and am close to 5’9) or stick with this A line dress that hides my slightly larger hips? I have been going back and forth between going A line or more modified A line with less overall dress material(a bit more form fitting and slightly smaller train). If I go with this dress, I am thinking of making it into a sweetheart neckline like the last picture, but using the belt from the first 3 pictures. I am also debating on whether or not to wear some kind of long veil (not the specific one shown) or no veil at all, what do you think? All the dresses I try on seem to look different in the store than when I look back at pictures so I need your help! All honest opinions and thoughts would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I think you look beautiful and the dress is very pretty, but I feel like it’s hiding you. I’m not much of a fashion person, I just know how I feel when I look at someone / myself in something, so I can’t tell you exactly what it is that I “see” you in, but it is definitely not something that hides you the way this one does.

Heres my opinion- I dont think it makes you look frumpy, it is a beautiful dress. I do however feel you have a lovely long torso which is elongated perhaps more by the neckline and bodice of the dress.
Like me you are broad in the shoulders- this is a good thing but i have found that i personally look better and less frumpy/broad with soft straps or lace at the top.
There is nothing wrong with this dress and you look beautiful in it just dont rule out other options

I think it looks absolutely beautiful on you, but if you want something that accentuates your waist more, I say look for a more form-fitting dress like a trumpet or mermaid or fit and flare style…I will say that if you’re not IN LOVE with it, then it’s probably not your dress 🙂
It DEFINITELY doesn’t make you look frumpy or fat though! 🙂
