Absolutely gorgeous! Why wouldn’t they give you the full name- so you can’t go and find the dress cheaper somewhere else?

    GORGEOUS Dress.

I hear you on the sticker shock !!

If you can find a photo of the dress you like (doesn’t have to be one of you in it) then the Off-Shore (China) Dressmakers can reproduce it for you at a far better price… and you can pick the fabric, colour, and some of the details that you want incorporated etc.

Here on WBee there are many great comments / reviews of Dresses produced by Jasmine’s Bridal and Dressilyme

    Hope this helps,

As This Time Round said, there are some good offshore places you can get a replica made for cheaper. I just bought a dress from Dressilyme myself (hoping they live up to my expectations lol). Jasmines is supposed to be slightly better (closer to the original) I think, but also slightly more expensive and I couldn’t afford one of their replicas lol. If you can get a photo of a dress which is the same or similar and make adjustments, I’m sure you can get the dress you want for the price you want!

@Shonzilla:  Its a very basic description of a dress – there are many many like that. I would just search around, find a few photos of similar dresses and check out some warehouses and the like (the ones who let you take photos haha!) armed with your photos. See what they pull and you’ll be surprised what you find! 🙂

@Shonzilla:  Also, that Essence dress has a detatchable belt and you can get them in different colours! 🙂

@Shonzilla:  This is the Cora by Maggie Sottero (US designer), it looks close in design to the picture you posted. Her dresses are usually under $2,000. I got my ballgown (different style) for $1,400.
