I have been contemplating of an inexpensive wedding favor idea for a long time. What do you think of this idea? I was thinking of putting a heart cookie cutter with a cookie recipe in a cute little bag with a thank you note. I will also include a little heart cookie as well with either FI and my initials or the words thank you on it. Thoughts?

@Tswife4ever: I think that sounds really lovely, it is quite personal! If I received that at a wedding I'd love it-it's practical as well as sweet!

I think that is a great idea, but for the initials, I would use his first intial and his second intial, then a plus or and sign, then your first initial, then your second initial.

That does sound like a cute idea, but finding a heart-shaped cookie cutter in bulk sounds like it could potentially be expensive (or more then you would probably want to pay). Have you done the research on cost?

I looooove this idea and have actually thought about doing something similar for our favors. I say go for it! (esp. now that I see you found them for a great price!)

That's a great idea! You should try using a pretty original recipe, something other than chocolate chip or sugar cookies, since people already have their favorite recipes for those. Guests are going to love them/:).

Very cute! I would suggest writing "thank you" on the cookie.

I think it's a cute idea.  I always like an edible favour, and the cookie cutter sounds cute.

Great favor! We also made cookies as favors, and we made them months ahead of time and froze them. They came out great!
