That is actually a really cute name. I haven't heard it before but it sounds nice!
I think Capri is very cute. :) I also like Wren/Ren, though. Both would be great choices, imo.
I think Capri is really cute!
Haha, I just posted about the name Jude. It's the only name DH will agree on besides his own and I don't want a junior.
I'm not a fan. It makes me think of a Donatella Versace type of overdone European woman. Sorry.
But all that matters is that you like it. So if you do, go for it. I personally love Wren/Ren
It sounds like a soap opera character to me...it is all about what you guys love though!
Doesn't Capri- mean goat? As in capricorn? My initial thought when i hear it is a combination of "goat" and those ugly short pants (Capris?) that look terrible on tall girls like me. A wren is a bird so maybe you don't mind the whole goat thing.
I actually have a co-worker with that as her middle name! I have always thought it was interesting.
*** edit- I meant Capri
@MrsBroccoli: LOL!
I looked it up because I was curious, and yeah, it pretty much does mean goat. On wikipedia it says the island of Capri may have gotten it's name from the word for boar. Capri in itself doesn't sound bad, but not a fan of naming a baby girl after goats or boar.
I like Wren better; wrens are cool birds! Especially rufous-naped wrens and Cactus wrens. lol.
@MrsBroccoli: haha "a wren is a bird so maybe you don't mind the whole goat thing..."
crack me up! ;)
I personally don't like it as a name, but only because I think of "Capri Sun" (the juice bags for kids) and also capri pants.

I guess if you don't have that juice in your area, then it wouldn't be a big deal.
@Juliepants: Ditto.
I am a fan of middle names having meaning instead of only having a "nice ring" to it, so I'm not particularly drawn to these suggestions. But as PPs have said, it's a very personal choice and if you love the name, go for it.
I like Wren. Not Ren, though - that makes me think of Ren & Stimpy. Not a big fan of Capri.
I love Willa, Wren, and Hazel. I can't say I love Capri. I don't think it "goes" with the others.
Just my two cents.
@eurekaanchovies I agree!
I LOVE the name Willa! I've always loved names that sound old or are unique! I personally have always wanted to name a girl Delia or Winnie, short for Cordelia and Winnifred! But it's not for everyone thats for sure!
@MissDareDevil AH really!? I think you're the first person! Everyone else tells me my child would grow up hating me for naming her that!
@sillyme: I think it's cute. I have a friend with that as a middle name, it makes me think of California for some reason, like in a sunny way lol

For the longest time, hubby and I were planning on using Ren/Wren for a middle name if we had a girl.
Then, we got stuck on June for a middle name, but decided against it because if/when we have a boy we will want to name him Jude.
Now, we like the name Capri.
What do you think of the middle name Capri?
It would likely be Willa Capri or Hazel Capri (I liked Sienna Capri for a while, then realized they are both places in Italy).
So, is it weird or cute?
