Cute! I don't think $100 is a bad price for a wedding hairpiece.... all of the ones I saw at my bridal shop were well over $100. All I ended up buying were some really pretty jeweled hair pins... and they were still $50!
it IS beautiful, but... $100?
If your budget can handle it, go for it. Mine wouldn't be able to, so I voted no. :/
It is beautiful. I didn't vote because I don't know what your dress looks like. Can you give an idea of what your dress looks like? If you are wearing a big dress, I think it might not make a big enough impact to justify the expense. If your dress is more subtle then I think it will stand out more. Either way, it is really really pretty!
Here is the dress - I chose this photo b/c with the way the mirror is, you can actually see both the front and the back!
it's pretty--but $100?!?!?!
but, I guess if it's in your budget, go for it. It's not in mine and I can think of about 50 other things to put the hundred bucks towards..that is more important to me than a hair piece.
I think you can find (or make) something cheaper, but if you're really set on it and can afford it, go for it. Personally, my taste differs, and I've found so many handmade pieces that I like much better.
Hmmmmm. I think it might get "lost" compared to the dress. I'm not sure I would spend the money if it is at the higher end of your budget. If the cost is not an issue, I certainly think that it works with the dress. And the piece is beautiful! Since you said it was 'expensive' I'm voting "no" but it really is up to you. Do you want something more understanted?
It's within budget for us but I'm fairly frugal so it still seems extravagant. I definitely want something that will be noticed but not gaudy or show-offy. I had looked at tiara type headbands (probably calling it the wrong thing) that were in the $250 range and they just stood out way too much and detracted from the dress, so the clip in the back is my newest idea. I plan to wear my hair down and slightly curled, so I thought it may work. Even though we can afford it, it still feels weird to spend a lot of money on it!
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!! If you love it like I love it...Buy it!!!!!!!!!!
Given that you want something subtle, that will add an elegant touch, I think it serves the exact purpose you want it to! I personally don't think that $100 is a lot to spend on a hair piece - especially if you love it. This is your day - Treat yourself!
It's so pretty and really is unique. $100 seems a bit much. Have you thought of asking anyone on Etsy to see if they can make something similiar?
Is it something you can't live without for your wedding? if you MUST MUST MUST have it, THEN GO FOR IT!!!! :) But if it's a temporary "want" and you'd be just as happy with something else (p.s. how often will YOU see the back of your head during that day?), I'm sure you can find something similar and much cheaper. How badly do you want it?
I think it's super pretty, but I would look around a bit more just to see if you can find something similar at a better price. Is your wedding coming up soon? If not, take your time and look around. I'm counting on some great post-holiday sales to look for wedding items!
Pretty, but OVER $100? Wow. I say no...that's an awful lot for a pretty, albeit simple and not ornate hairpiece. Post an alchemy bid and see what you can get?
it's pretty, but I couldn't rationalize spending over $100 on it.
check this site: they've got a couple that are somewhat similar for MUCH less: http://www.sammoon.com/web3/product.asp?last_id2=20&sub=sub3&cat=giftitem&tempcat=Hair_Clip&total=83&mx=20
I don't think it's worth $100, if you have time to do some legwork, i think you could find something just as pretty for less.

you could get 2, they are $8 put them next to each other and you'll have the same look
Definintely look around! It's really, really pretty but not 100$ pretty when I know you can find alternatives out there! I like the idea, though!
It's really pretty-but not for over $100. I would look for something similar & if you can't find anything similar that you love & you can spend the money, buy this one.
Its pretty, but I agree with others that is too pricy for what you get :( Also, and I may be off here, but it looks like its pulling down your hair, is it heavy? If so, it may not be the best choice considering you will be walking so much & dancing.
i think it's lovely, and more important, it PHOTOGRAPHS beautifully. there will be a lot of close-up shots of you and your new hubby kissing, some where you will see the back of your head, so even though it may not make a huge impact in the big picture of your whole ensemble, it will make a big difference in your photographs :o)
If it were me, I wouldn't buy it. I'm cheap and if it broke or something happened to it, I'd cry, LOL! I think you could find something pretty comparable for about 1/3 of the price if you keep looking. But it's not like you can re-do your big day so if you're in love with it and it's your splurgey thing then get it.

I love this hair clip - but it is expensive (over $100). I can't decide if it is worth it or if I could find something similar for less. I've tried etsy, ebay, and some random bridal websites that sell hair things. Would love a few opinions before I break down and buy it!
