I don't really wear gold but the necklace itself is beautiful. If it was silver or white gold I'd be thrilled. I'm sure your girls would love it though.
I think it's cute and something they can definitely use often.
I would find out first if she likes yellow gold. I never ever ever wear yellow gold and I wouldn't be able to wear that.

My sister is the girl it would be for, and she does wear yellow gold, most of her 'nice' jewelry is white, but she definetly has trendy type necklaces in gold

Yay, I'm glad to see people are liking it. She is the more 'fashionable' of us, so with anything not completly traditional, i'm never sure if i'll hit or miss, and usually I check with her first :)
