I voted “it’s okay”. I normally really like intricate bands.. but I think the way the setting is made cheapens the ring [to me]

In the end.. it doesn’t matter what I or anyone else thinks, if you love it, wear it and rock it!

@KaylaFromAR:  I love it. I think it’s super Disney princess-ey with the bows and the detail around the stone. I’d definitely wear it, and, I think a 5mm on that ring will be fine, and I’m a size 8.5. My current stone is just slightly over 6, and I sometimes think it’s too big.

ETA: I think it reminds me most of the scene in Cinderella where the mice and birds are making her pink dress…Now I’m obsessed.

@KaylaFromAR:  Bwahahaha! Yeah, I think that means you should probably make it yours.

@KaylaFromAR:  I’m borderline obsessed with bows so I voted “love it” 🙂 I wouldn’t even consider it for myself because it would be too much ring for my size 3.25 short fingers but I think it would be perfect for you since you’re size 9. If you love it, go for it 🙂

@KaylaFromAR:  I’m not saying it’s horrible at all! I just think there’s alot of metal work. Square setting with round diamond leaves lots of metal in the corner, with more metal around the square setting, and even more metal work on the band.

    It’s pretty, and unique.

I hate it. I think it’s ugly and something about it makes me feel like it’s a cheap ring that’s trying to look expensive. I feel like it has too many things going on, and too many feels.. like it reminds me of a grad ring, mixed with celtic, mixed with princess etc.. Not a fan, but that’s just my opinion though, haha.

@KaylaFromAR:  HAHA, I’m sorry. But honestly, for an engagement ring I feel like there’s a chance you might look back at it in 5 years and be like wtf? I’d go for something a little more classic.

I like the first one…and actually, both are pretty!  Get what YOU like….you’re going to be the one wearing it, not everyone else.

I like the first because it’s antique looking…love the side detail!

@KaylaFromAR:  I love the second, though I’d probably like it more if the whole setting were white metal (that’s just me though).

I kind of like the first one; I like that it looks kind of art deco/antique, and I like the square setting around the round stone. But, I’m not keen on the bows; I’d prefer it if the whole thing looked more antique, if that makes sense. I’d also maybe go with a slightly bigger stone in the first setting so that there’s less metal around it.
