So.... what do you think of this ring?
NB: I realise it doesn't matter what you think. I'm asking purely out of interest, not approval-seeking.

Yes! I see it now! It's pretty! I love the unique design. The stone looks very clear, high quality, and sparkly.

This is a Patrick Irla yes? I love his style, this ring is lovely, but I wouldn't want to wear it everyday as an engagement ring. I would worry the flower would be knocked off or the petals bent.
The first word I thought of was 'delicate' and ethereal. Just going by your profile pic (which isn't you, but I'm assuming gives an indication about the type of person you are), I think it would be a perfect match.
I love it! Not for an e-ring *personally* but I really like it for a right hand ring. Either way it's really dainty and pretty :)
Love the flower, not so crazy about the parentheses of metal directly under the stone, but overall I think it's beautiful.

I never really thought about the flower getting knocked off or bent - I am a bit naive about the longevity of jewellery and therefore assumed if it was made well it would last. Do you think this may be a serious issue?
@petitfour: @s.renea9: It isn't mine, I'm 99% sure I'm going to get one made by this designer though, for my e-ring, and so I'm toying with this particular design. There's a lot of small changes that could be made to it, though, which is why I wondered what others thought - because maybe someone would have an awesome suggestion.
@linguo42: I think I like the parentheses. It's one of the things I'm not sure on. But SO doesn't like whole bezels, so half makes sense and makes me like it more.
@Treejewel19: For an e-ring, yeah.
@KatNYC2011: It's just on one side. I've seen others he custom made for people with symmetry.... not a fan, personally.

@Mrs.KMM: Tbh, I'm very surprised no-one else has said they don't like it so far. Maybe they're all just being polite because they can tell I must like it? :P But I don't expect everyone to like floral things - that's just me!
Oh Wow! I really love it. I am very attracted to vines and flowers in design, and I think it has been very tastefully done here. I also like that it is one of a kind (different). On top of all that the diamond is beautiful.
@VickyAurea: I heard about him on Pricescope. Many posters there have bought from him and were really pleased with the quality.
I think even if the ring is made well, that flower can be vulnerable just because of the design. There are many opportunities for it to get caught on something and pull, or for it to push against something and bend, or to knock it on something and it snaps off. This is a ring you would really have to baby IMO. But it is beautiful.
I really love your ring. Its really pretty. I am usually not a big fan of gold, but this ring is really unique and I really like it!
