I am now married but am thinking of selling this ring for something else becuase this one just hasnt grown on me. When I got engaged, I was not excited about the ring and would love to have the attachment that some women do to their rings when they get what they really wanted…my fiance didn’t ask me before purchasing. So, just wondering what everyone thinks about the style, cut etc…. I know it is unique.

I’m not crazy about it. The cut is totally not my style. If you aren’t in love with it and your husband is ok with you getting another one, then do so.

@MorganCG: Yeah that really isn’t my style either, I don’t blame you. I would either: take the center stone out (if you don’t mind the marquis cut) and set it traditionally “north-south” instead of east-west…maybe get rid of the halo (not that I mind them – I love them usually but this one just doesn’t seem balanced) and put it in a beautiful solitaire setting with sidestones – maybe pave. Either that, or replace the ring with a different one of your choosing.

I think it’s too big for your finger.

@MorganCG: I feel like it would look much better if it was set vertically rather than horizontally because. Just an idea: if you like the cut of your center stone, you could always take that and put it into a setting you love.

It is unique, but it completely hides your wedding band. The stone looks a little dull too, but it might just need to be cleaned.

honest opinion? not my style

looks like that ethnic/religious eye symbol…

Sorry but I don’t like it at all:(
If you removed the halo and turned the stone upwards I think it could look a lot better:)

@MrsRMH: +1 it would look awesome just by resetting it north south!!

@MorganCG: I agree with others about maybe just having the stones re-set in a better design. Right now it kind of looks like a superbowl championship ring.. The quality of the stones looks beautiful.

@MorganCG: I love it; BUT, I have a N-S marquise solitaire, so the stone shape is my favorite.

@MorganCG: I like the east-west setting for marquis diamonds for the uniqueness factor, but in the end, I like my marquis diamonds set north-south in a traditional way. This would be stunning set north-south. I Love the bezel halo.
Isn’t it Catherine Zeta-Jomes who has a setting similar to yours?
