I really like those together. :) If you really like it, I don't see how you could go wrong. And welcome. :)
Welcome to the hive :-) I think they really do look great together! I think it's fine alone, but it looks slightly curved in the photos, some people like that and others don't. I think you really did hit the jackpot for a matching band though, very nice!
@mblab: Very pretty! I really like them together, they match almost perfectly!
To be honest, I'm really picky, so if it were me and if it were an option financially, I would probably try to add a couple of diamonds on each of the sides of the band to make it match your E-ring even more perfectly (it looks like your E-ring has 2 extra diamonds on each side, right?). But like I said, I'm annoying like that and I do think it looks great as-is and they match wonderfully. Good luck :)
Thanks for the warm welcomes and the responses ladies! It's really wonderful to get such great and quick feedback on my very first post!
Sorry my pictures are so large, I tried my best to size them down. The plus size of it though is that my ring looks huge. (It's not, it's perfect for me, but it's definitely not as big as it looks. Haha!)
@ AmeliaBedelia: Thanks!
@ NDBee: The band is slightly curved. I told the jeweler I did NOT want that (curved bands) but it was curved so little I was willing to give it a chance. It a one reason why I'm not sure if I'm 100% in love with this band as the band for me.
@ indyJEEP: I thought the same thing! (So we can be picky together!) But the jeweler and my fiance both thought that if this band had diamonds on the side like my ering it'd be too much. Maybe my hesitation is partly because inner diva wants a band with more diamonds?
Anyway, thanks for letting me share and giving me your thoughts!
I really love it together! I'm not in love with it by itself. Could one be made with the same design but straight?
I really like, no love them together. Very Beautiful, great job to both of you. I had a similar issue, my ring was made based upon a stone that I brought to the jeweler that he had to cut, etc. But we didn't buy our bands from him. We just got cheap Kay Jeweler rings... They don't match, but my ring is so friggin awesome I don't care. I hope you feel the same about yours, it's equally awesome!
I agree completely with indyJEEP and MrsCoachBtoBe. It looks great with your e-ring, but if it was straight instead of contoured and had the extra diamonds on the sides, I think it would go from great to perfect.
So I have a bit of an update. I went back to the same jewelery store yesterday to look at other bands. As great as the other band I put pictures of above looks with my engagement ring I would never wear it by itself and I really want that option. (I don't know when I'll actually wear them separately but I want the ability to!) So I realized I had to look for other bands. After trying on a few different rings I found this one

(It's a Scott Kay wedding band. For frame of reference my engagement band is a tiny bit less than 3/4 carat total weight and this wedding band is 1/4 total carat weight.)
It's not letting me post the second half of my post, so I guess I'll put the rest here:
I'd seen bands like this before and loved them, but didn't know if it really fit with my engagement ring. I loved it by itself but was on the fence of how it looked with my engagement ring. My fiance and the jeweler both agreed that it looked wonderful on my finger, alone, and with my engagement ring. Then the jeweler gave me good news: it was on sale, $500 off the normal price! But of course there was still some bad news: it was way more than I expected to pay for my wedding band (even at the sale price, though clearly a good value for what it is) and this ring is not made of white gold like my engagement ring it's made of palladium. The jeweler assured me that mixing the different metals would be fine in terms of wear and tear and since they're both white metals they should be the same color as each other.
Since it was on sale I purchased the ring. This store isn't typically able to put designer products on sale and I knew if I hesitated too long it'd be gone. I'd have hated if they sold it and I realized it was the one and then I'd have had to pay full price for it. But they gave me a guarantee that I can return it if I decide it's not right for me. It's getting sized right now (it's 1/2 a size too big) but now I'm afraid I made the wrong decision. I'm not sure if it's the right wedding band, style wise and/or metal wise with my engagement band. I'm hoping that next week when I can pick the ring up and wear it for more than a moment I'll be able tell for sure if it's the right band or not. Butbecause you ladies are so great at giving your opinions I'd love to know what you think!
Wow, it really does match very well! I mean, its perfect.
Im not crazy about the ring by itself though :\
@HoneyBear: I know that's how I felt too.
@adw2c: Thanks!
Did you see the second ring, any thoughts on that?
I think the second choice is good- I wear mine alone a lot- so I have something similar (an anniversary band) and I think the curve looks like it is meant to be a set on the first.

Hi ladies! I'm rather new to the Wedding Bee, I got engaged Christmas morning. It's so exciting to be worried and concerned about things like finding a wedding band! Anyway, my engagement ring is beautiful, eclectic and antique looking, everything I could have hoped for. Since he bought just the ring I realized I'd have a hard time finding a wedding band that would work well with it. Since I'm very indecisive I decided to start the search early, just in case. This afternoon we went to 4 local jewelry stores (well 3 were major chains but I live in a small town, there aren't that many jewelry stores here). We found this ring at the first store. The salesman was besides himself, saying how well it matched my ering and how amazing it was to find something like that since we hadn't gotten the ering from them. I knew it matched but I wasn't sure if it was "the one". After seeing rings at the other stores, I kept thinking back to this ring and I realized I liked this ring the more I thought back to it.
I know these are bad photos since they're from my phone (and try not to mind/judge the hairy knuckles) but what do you think of this wedding band with my ring?
Here's the only picture I took of the band alone:
I want to find something that looks great with my ring (either matches or compliments) but also looks great on it's own....
