During work? Probably not. On the weekend with some friends or SO. Sure!
Yes yes and yes! But maybe onlyo ne glass if you are heading back to the office, haha, I'm bad :). In actuality though, I see nothing wrong with enjoying a glass of wine with lunch. Many many people do, as I use to be a bartnder, in an upscale restaurant.
I don't see anything wrong with it (unless it is your lunch break from work). But a weekend or holiday or something - no big deal!
Only on a special occassion- once in a blue moon, like a holiday or something. Otherwise, I don't really support drinking during the day!
I like the last option! I lived in Europe for a while and totally got into the habit of drinking wine with lunch and dinner. Love it. I don't see a problem with one glass at lunch and going back to work.
I'm all in favor of a glass of wine with lunch! One glass of wine won't affect me much so I'm ok with having a drink during the day. If I were to leave stumbling out drinking straight from the bottle then it would be a problem!
Uh, I work in a police station and I don't know how coming back from lunch with alcohol on my breath would go over with the "clients", but for someone with a regular office job, sure.
haha I was just about to post, literally, "what are you, French?" and then I saw that that actually was an option. Wow.
Anyway, I'm all for it, but then again I operate my own store, so I can do pretty much whatever I want, when ever I want.
I served an an upper scale joint throughout my college years and had two regulars who would come in on their lunch break and drink red wine out of coffee mugs... you know, to hide the evidence. Of course they still had wine breath and purple teeth, soooo....
I think of wine with breakfast. Haha so obviously I think it sounds awesome with lunch!
Uhh duh! Wine is never a bad thing! When I worked in London, there was no problem with drinking on lunch break, although it was expected that you weren't going to go out and get pissed obvi. And we also had the catch that if we had to go visit a client in the afternoon (I was a child protection social worker), drinking was sort of frowned upon, although not outright banned.
Mmm, how I love red wine.... I really think I should have been born a French girl!
