First off, I’ve heard that it doesn’t matter what you put on your skin it won’t help – I tend to disagree from personal experience.
I started using the Palmers Cocoa Butter 8 years ago when I had put on 10kgs and started getting stretch marks, and I haven’t gone a day without it since. I’m now 21 weeks pregnant, and have decided to use Bio Oil at night also. My usual routine is I shower morning and night and put cocoa butter on after both, then before bed I use the Bio Oil.
I’m just really curious to know what others use besides these two..

Coconut oil! Can’t really talk aout how successful it’s been since I’m only like 10 weeks pregnant, but I think it’s an all around miracle product. My sister started using it after her baby was born and it faded her stretch marks like crazy.

My sister used cocoa butter and vaseline throughout her pregnancy. She is VERY petite (under 5 feet about 100 lbs) and did not get one stretch mark. I am following that routine. She stayed moisturized throughout the day not just morning and night.

I use coconut oil in the shower and palmers after the shower. 26 weeks and so far so good.

I tend to rely on scientific evidence not personal anecdotes, and studies have not shown that any cream is effective at preventing stretch marks. I didn’t use anything when I was pregnant and didn’t get any stretch marks, even though I gained 40 lbs. Interestingly, I did get stretch marks when I was a teen and going through puberty. Apparently, you tend to get less stretch marks the older you are when pregnant.

I’ve been using mama mio tummy rub oil. I like the smell and I think it’s a little less runny than bio oil.

At the recommendation of a friend, I’ve been using Mother’s Special Blend (http://www.mothersspecialblend.com/products.html). It is literally oil though so it’s quite runny. My skin gets dry otherwise so I apply this once a day after my shower and so far so good (but it’s only been 16 weeks – LOL).

I use Palmers stretch mark massage cream all over and also Avon Anew Clinical Professional Stretch Mark Smoother on my actual stretch marks – the Avon stuff does seem to help make them look less noticeable (I’ve used it since before pregnancy on my hip stretch marks from puberty).

Exercise, watch what I eat and lots of prayer with a double helping of good luck.

I have been doing the the palmers paste in the jar (not hte belly butter) every day and I just started doing it at night too – basically from head to toe. i will be 30 weeks saturday and am still stretch mark free – but from what i hear they dont come til the end anyway.
My mother and sister never had any and I have always drank a ton of water so I am hoping the combination of all of these things will leave me stretch mark free!!
