As I read this new post in my Google Reader, it got me thinking of my new shoe. It is pretty amazing and I’m sure it will be breathtaking … but will they leave dying? I’m kind of nervous now!!! I mean … they’re higher than what I thought they would be. I actually ordered them without trying them. I cannot remember exactly how high they are … they’re around 4 inches. They are also little bit of a platform and the ankle ties … like in a bow.
I think I need to wear them around the house to practice. Oh gosh. Now I’m nervous.
P.S. my mother actually TOOK THEM from me so that I do not show my fiance. Omg. Lol. She really wants him to not see me in anything “wedding” until that day.

I had never really thought about it before, but the sort of shoe I would like for my wedding is a no-brainer: Cinderella! Duh! That fairytale has a lot of meaning to me. My sisters and I made movies about it, watched movies and musicals about it, and my SO makes me feel like Cinderella. He’s a prince and I’m a full-time college student who works as a scullery maid (ex-custodian/house cleaning)! So no flip-flop wedding for this gal!
If only I can find a shoe that’s not made of glass, prone to falling off after a few hours of dancing, and still manages to be magical and romantic…

I don’t know if I can handle the heels, but if I could, these are my shoes:

@khadijathediva – Where did you find those? I am obsessed with The Wizard of OZ. My username on numerour things is "clickyourheels". I think I need those!
I can’t seem to find any shoes for the wedding that are less than 4" heels. Here are mine.

I’m a little obsessed with Cole Haan’s Ceci Rose. If only they weren’t so pricey!

I absolutely love these! These are Steve Maddens, but I got them for $30 on eBay. I can’t wait to wear them!

Those Cole Haan heels are cutie pies! I heard they’re SUPER comfy too. Nike is the parent company of Cole Haan.

My dream shoes? 1/2-3/4 inch kitten heel slingback; bright color (maybe pink? or teal? or green? or orange-y red?) with some sort of pretty embellishment, like the fabric rosettes or ribbon loop-ies that I’ve seen so often here. And they would magically not hurt my feet at all!
I’ll honestly probably end up wearing shoes I already own for the ceremony; we’re looking into getting matching Chuck Taylors in our wedding colors for the whole bridal party to change into at the reception (and for pictures, OF COURSE!), so those should be comfy enough. 🙂
I’m not supposed to wear heels at all because of an old knee injury that still acts up 🙁 so I’ll probably end up in flats all day.
