My parents are university lecturers, my dad is retired now though. Now you go!
Dad's a former CEO of a major plastics company, ~10 years ago he opened his own and now if owner/CEO of his plastic company.
My mom was a SAHM until us kids were school aged, now she's a teachers aide at the local elementary.
My dad is a meat cutter at a grocery store and my mom works at a factory that makes cables and other parts for military applications.
Dad is a Forestry Contractor - Lumberjack/planter/tree-related things - he started out collecting logs as his first job at 15, and at the age of 21 he went into business by himself - he's now got a really succesful business, employing around 50 people and with contract over the UK - all my brothers work for him, and one is his business partner - I'm really proud of him.
Mum was a childminder, but now looks after adults with various levels of mental disabilities - I admire her for doing the jb she does. She's often on the receiving end of violent behaviour by her clients, but she just dusts herself down and gets on with it.
My parents have given all us kids a strong sense of work ethics - which I'm grateful for.
Father - left when I was two and is now on wife #4. Last I knew was that he was a taxi driver but never claimed it so he didnt have to pay child support.
Mum - was a nurse. Is now on disability
My mum works in insurance, and has done since she was 16 years old. She has done project management, sales, facilitating, IT, brokering... and other insurance roles. I've always admired her for being hard working and her value of work and professionalism inspires me

My Dad is a retired custodian for the school board in my hometown area. He worked at my public school since I started in '87, and then moved on to the high school when I was away in college. Now that he is retired, he works part-time at Walmart... he would go stir-crazy not doing anything, and the little bit of extra income helps for all his golfing excursions, lol.
My Mum is a deadbeat who is too lazy to do anything, and collects welfare. She's the scariest, strongest woman I know, and could show-up many men, but she'd rather smoke pot all day, and complain about people who have more than her. My two sisters have adopted that way of life, as well, sadly... I supported them financially for years before I wised up.
My dad is a musician and my mother works as a part time book keeper for a shitty ass company and is also a tax preparer for H&R block during tax season.

My dad was forced into early retirement by inter-company politics and the bad economy, but he used to be the administrator for the OB-GYN department at a major hospital. My mom is a grants administrator/business manager for an international research center. She handles about 30 million in grants.

She tried getting a job in deaf ed. but the public schools were on a hiring freeze. She has since been at that school for 15 years. She now teaches social studies in the middle school, and it is very much her passion. My soon-to-be stepfather is an eye doctor, but he actually specializes as a developmental optometrist, working with children in diagnosing and treating vision problems that interfere with reading and learning.
