Dad is a Forestry Contractor – Lumberjack/planter/tree-related things – he started out collecting logs as his first job at 15, and at the age of 21 he went into business by himself – he’s now got a really succesful business, employing around 50 people and with contract over the UK – all my brothers work for him, and one is his business partner – I’m really proud of him.

Mum was a childminder, but now looks after adults with various levels of mental disabilities – I admire her for doing the jb she does.  She’s often on the receiving end of violent behaviour by her clients, but she just dusts herself down and gets on with it.

My parents have given all us kids a strong sense of work ethics – which I’m grateful for.

Father – left when I was two and is now on wife #4. Last I knew was that he was a taxi driver but never claimed it so he didnt have to pay child support.

Mum – was a nurse. Is now on disability

My Father is a retired Police Officer- Anti terrorist unit. He now does chauffering to get a bit of extra cash as you retire in the force after so many years service rather than age and hes not yet eligiable for his pension.

My mother has worked part time for as long as i remember because i have a disabled brother. Before she retired she worked in a school for disabled children. I admire her for doing this for work and when she came home from work.

My dad was a university admissions counselor, and my mother was QC for a plastics company that made car parts for Ford (before they moved their operations to Mexico), then worked at a grocery store, and now she works somewhere else, but I have no idea where except that it’s a factory.
