Hello everyone! I am getting married in October of 2013 and have been thinking about my wedding colors and at first have always thought about having some kind of green as one of the main colors like forest or fern green. I then became across this photo below and was in love with the colors! I would have the the color on the right as my main color which would be for my bridesmaides dresses and other things for the reception. I then would have the burgundy (1st on left) and cream or champagne for flowers and other little things.
I also have a link below that shows a bridesmaid dress that I am looking at. If you copy and paste then pick the color teal, you will see what it looks like on someone. As you can tell the teal is darker on the dress than in the photo I posted. Do everyone think it is too ughly for my bridesmaides to wear?? And will it be hard to find little things that match that dark teal color???….like personalized napkins and candles for the reception?!?! Let me know what you think please!!!!

Beautiful!! I don’t think it’s ugly for BMs to wear at all! I would suggest looking for BM dresses in that color in chiffon or something gauzy, because I do think shiny/satin dresses in teal are a little bright (but just my personal opinion). And no, I don’t think you’ll have trouble at all finding things in teal! It definitely helps that your palette is 5 colors so if you can’t find something that matches the teal you could use one of your secondary colors. And I think a lot of brides here might tell you the same thing, but – if you can’t find the exacttt shade of teal – for the linens, for example – don’t sweat the small stuff!

OMG I absolutely love that color combo. I do not think I have seen that at any weddings I have been to. It will be very fresh and interesting for October ( I mean that in a good way).

Love those colors! And that bridesmaid dress is really cute! Keep in mind that sometimes the colors shown online aren’t how they look in person. The dress might be lighter in real life.

Love it – amazing colours!
You might have to settle with the lighter colour on the napkins – but even a slight varation of that colour is amazing and will look really good. Or you could always do more champagne colour – I love it!
