Our bedroom is… dark, but cozy. Dark purple walls with purple and chocolate brown bed linens, brown drapes, darker wood furniture. I wanted to incorporate my favorite color (purple) without making the room too girly. Next time around, I’m definitely going with a lighter color scheme, though. I love using all white linens but DH doesn’t like it. 🙁

We have cream walls throughout (Apt building – ugh).  Our dresser, headboard, and side tables are all painted black.  Curtains are white sheers.  Bedding is a wheat bed skirt, navy sheets, and a wedgewood blue bedspread.  Then I have a few throw pillows in a dusty purple and a silver.

We have blue walls, gray brown furniture, and white linens.  We don’t move in for another month or so, but I will try to update when I can.

Commenting on this so I can follow it! We’ve been wanting to redecorate our bedroom, but can’t decide on color schemes!

Sorry for the crappy cell phone photo. We have “latte” walls, slightly warmer and browner than just a plain beige. Our furniture is “espresso”, our carpet is just a generic cream color. This picture shows our comforter, we have two sheet sets that match, one is the gold color and one is black. If it were up to DH my whole house would be black and white but that didn’t work with the wall color so this was our compromise and I have to admit I love it.

@nyscpa2be:  Cream walls? We call that “Landlord beige” ugh! We haven’t done any painting in our apartment yet and we are thinking of sage green and taupe.

We have light green walls with white trim/doors and hardwood floor. The shade is a translucent peach…really pale and not too orange. Quilt and shams are snow white with white embroidery for detail. Sheets are either caribbean blue, light blue, or dark plum purple. Depending on our mood. DH prefers the caribbean blue. It’s like the color of electric lemonade. He loves is.

Ours looks just like it did before he moved in (he sold his house and moved into mine). The walls are a pumpkin/terra cotta color. I’m tired of them and we will be repainting soon.

Ours is dark. FI already had a queen size bed so we had to use that–its a brown sleigh bed and then our curtains are brown. Rest of the furniture is black and brown. Very mismatched!! I got a red comforter to try to brighten the room but it didnt work too well! Cant wait to buy a house and get all new furniture 🙂

We have tan walls, dark wood furniture, and navy bedding and drapes.

This is our bedding, not too dark and still girly enough for me.

Our walls are a rich tan (i think it’s called “nut”), bedspread is bluish-green and brown and the furniture is old school wood that was his grandmother’s. Blue, green and brown is the color scheme. My side of the room is tidy and his side looks like I married the Tazmanian Devil. Oh, the carpet is “landlord beige”. We hate the carpeting in the house.
