Last night my honey came home to find me sprawled out across the couch, surrounded by used kleenex, and wearing pajamas from the night before. I was oh so sick and I looked oh so Gross! He gave me medicine, made me dinner, and even lit some candles and ran a warm bath for me. About half way through my bath, he came it and washed my hair. After that he made me tea & plugged my heating blanket up.
I know these things seem so small, but it all made me fell so special. I just couldn’t help but to think about how lucky I am to have such a loving caring man, to take care of me. What does your sweetie do that reminds you of how lucky you are?

My honey is AMAZING with doing my housework and we don’t even live together. If I’m vacuuming, he’ll come over and take the vacuum from me to do it himself. Same thing with dishes and other housework. It’s funny because sometimes we actually end up fighting over who gets to vacuum “let me…no, let me” lol. He’s also very handy when it comes to the typical guy things…such as changing my car brakes and minor plumbing problems.

I love watching him bond with our cat. He is a year old now and when we first got him my fiancé had never had a pet, and preferred dogs way more than cats. But now I catch the two of them cuddling all the time and he has become such a good cat daddy!

My fiance is incredibly understanding. I lost my engagement ring this weekend and he keeps telling me it will be okay, it’s just a ring and he doesn’t want me to be upset.
Also, whenever I am feeling ill or I have my period, he pampers me and will do anything to make me feel better. Plus he cleans up!

He’s not the romatic type. But he’s quite the handy man, which I LOVE! and no waiting for me to nag him… I mention it once, and even if he is in the middle of watching TV, he jumps up to go take care of it. No embarrassing tall grass for the neighbors to see, nope, he’s up shortly after dawn, and has no problem with me sleeping in until ten on the weekend to start my chores, and will have hot coffee waiting for me. My favorite though is when we have our coffee together, watching the birds.

He walks the dog and does the laundry without me asking!

My DH gets up early to shovel my car out and/or clean the snow off my car for me. He has to be at work by 7am, I don’t go in til 3 in the afternoon! I love him so much for it, I hate cleaning snow off!

He’s so proud to be with me. We’ve been long-distance most of our relationship and if I call him on skype when he’s with family or friends, he passes his phone around so I can say hi to everyone. He makes me feel like I’m right there with him even though we are an ocean away. And I found out during his long visit here that he’s been referring to me as his fiancee to friends since shortly after we became a couple.

@SincerelyShe: Aw, washed your hair and everything. Love it 🙂
Mine is such a romantic. Leaves me sweet little notes, comes to see me at work, hangs out with my younger sisters (ages 12-17) who ADORE him. He will have “movie nights” with them and curl up on the couch watching kids movies with them. So adorable. He also knows how I’m feeling even when I don’t tell him. I have a chronic pain problem and he ALWAYS knows when it’s bad. It means alot.

Just now I washed off my makeup and came back to the couch. About 10 mins ago he randomnly looked at me and said, “Baby you are cute as a button even without a stitch of makeup!” He has said this out of the blue before on occasion, but I never get tired of hearing it, especially since I know he means it.

When he looks at me and just smiles. Even after four years I still get butterflies. (:

He tells me I’m beautiful and that he loves me. Every day.

He lets me know all of the time that I am so loved. We’re in physical contact whenever possible even if it’s just a hand on a knee or our feet rubbing. He is the only person in the whole wide world who has ever been able to make me feel not-alone whenever the depression and/on anxiety rear their ugly heads.

My guy is sweet…I always say I’m the kite and he is the string. He grounds me and supports me completely, letting me fly free but not get hurt. He is always driving for me (I can’t drive yet, I’m learning late!) and doing favours for me without complaint. He has his flaws like everyone but I know that no matter what, if I’m grumpy or sick or sad or worried, if I snapped at him or if I nagged him about something, that every night when I crawl into bed at he will always, 100%, wrap his arms around me and spoon me until we’re both fast asleep.
He also makes me laugh!!!
