For those of you who had boudoir pics done, what did your SO think? Do they look at them? (Or is it kind of a “well if I can have the real thing, who needs pictures!” situation?)
I think I like the idea, but a) I don’t know if my husband would be comfortable with the idea of someone shooting me in my undies, and b) if he’d really want them!

I thought my FI would be really into it, but he turned his nose when I suggested it this weekend. I am surprised. And wondering if maybe he doesnt understand what it is.

Mine thought it is more for the woman than the man. I was going to do them but he didn’t seem to care either way. He said “why would I want pictures if I have the real thing?”.

@AngieN: A lot of women report that their hubbies LOVE the shots afterwards if surprised and a lot of women report that if they tell their husbands or ask permission to do it beforehand, that’s when their husbands get protective. Sort of like, as they say, easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

FH LOVED them! I have to say I did them more for me than him but it was an added bonus that he liked them 😉

I actually did a DIY boudoir photo book using a digital camera with a timer (nothin too fancy, just the one I carry with me everyday! $300ish I think), picnik to edit the photos and shutterfly to turn them all into a book. My husband loves it and especially because 1)I did it all for about $50 and 2)I didn’t have to shimmy down infront of a photog

I asked him again last night. His response? “I think it would be awesome to look at 50 years from now so I could look back and remember when!”
